he has made the most of those opportunities. I would say that these days, of course, he spends his time doing commercials with the Peyton Manning writing jingles. Brad Paisley Happy birthday. It is five thirty seven Saturday, October twenty eight, twenty twenty three. Just had your forecast and a look sports this morning. At nine, Mike Allen goes full thor and wields his mighty

devil of justice on seven hundred WLW. There's only one thing we love better than football, and that's tailgating, and there's no better way to enjoy both than in a new Ford f one fifty. The forecast says we don't really have rain today and there are slight chances that's it, but it's coming this Afternoon's high about where we're at now. Actually, it's not going to get

a whole lot warmer than it is at the moment. We're at sixty six overnight down to fifty five for a low, and the rain rolls in and tomorrow all day long. Looks like a an on and off shower chance. Even some thunderstorms are possible on Sunday with a high in the upper fifties. It is sixty six And here's Liam Tomlinson seven one hundred wlwport lots going on this weekend. Liam, And by the way, this is Gary Jeff Walker.

For somebody who obviously had never listened before, wanted me to identify myself. I identify as a talk show host. Thank you used the proper pronouns. Anyway. You wanted to get to high school football first, so you go for it. Man. Yeah. These high school scores are brought to you by Cincinnati Children to changing the outcome together. It was the first round of Ohio high school football playoffs last night. Archbishop Alter steamrolled Roger bak In

High School forty two to nothing. Wyoming destroyed Washington High School forty two to nothing. Zane Trace High School beat Madison High School twenty four to fourteen. Taft High School dominated McClain High School thirty nine to seven. Bellevue High School defeated Jackson County High School forty two sixteen and Dayton High School top Trimble County High School thirty eight to eighteen. World Series action last night, Game one

of the World Series was an absolute classic. Rangers took the game six to five and extras thanks to idols Garcia walk off home run. That is the first World Series walk off home run since twenty eighteen. We have some college football today. You see at Oklahoma State and still Water the darkness, darkest sky in America. Pregame coverage starts at seven. Kickoff is set for eight right here on seven hundred WLW. Tennessee's faces Kentucky in Lexington at seven o'clock

is the kickoff. You can catch that on ESPN fifteen thirty and Ohio State is in MADISONI you're up late last night. You're at MKU watching a UK practice game, exhibition game or whatever it was. Was it a practice? Was it exhibition? Last week? I watched the Kentucky Blue White game. This last night. They faced Georgetown College in Lexington. Oh you were You were down in Lexington. No. I had tickets to go, but me and my friend decided to stay up here so we could watch the World Series

and college football and snuggle that too at the bar. Right, So what's the fascination with the Wildcat? I just love the cats, man. Yeah. Caliperry does the one and Done and just promises kids he'll get him to the NBA and the program sucks. Now, it absolutely blows. It's it's it's the worst I've seen UK basketball since maybe Joe B. Hall. Well, you see, we stopped the one and done because all the fans want it to be. Oh, we get a bunch of transfers, all the

transfer sent out to not be the greatest. Yeah, and for Kentucky to suck. That's a lot of people's Kentucky sucking is what a lot of programs which they could be. Yeah, that's the mecca man, Well not lately. Yeah, get used to it. I'm telling you, man, it's done UK under Caliperry is done. You're no, I'm I'm just sign Yeah. It's five for you are listening to news radio seven hundred WLW. Mike Grimmy is the CEO of Johnstone Supply Grimmy Group, an HVAC distributor. We

source everything, we warehouse everything locally. Thirty six on this state that Harvard college. Harvard University was created in Massachusetts by a legislative act. It's time

to close its doors. It has long outlived its usefulness and its contributions to society are all on the negative, from the wokeness that we've seen in the last five years to the current demonstrations that are obviously anti Israel, anti Semitic, and pro terrorist Harvard, which this is not the only place in America on college campuses where this has been going on the last couple of weeks since the Gaza War began. But the fact of the matter is rich donors who

keep these ivory tower institutions afloat are backing away. The students have been not educated. They've been indoctrinated now for years by college professors who smoke too much dope and think they know everything, have poisoned their minds, and now they're talking about killing Jews and it's a good thing on college campuses like Harvard. I see a lot of parallels, by the way, but between what's going on there and remember BLM when it was all the rage, and I do

mean the rage and it was accepted, Oh, it's social protest. There's a fine line between protest and outright hate. And what I'm seeing on college campuses like Harvard around the country is outright hate towards Jews, towards Israel, and a love of terrorists. Not the Palestinians are all terrorists, whatever Palestinian is. That's the other thing I just can't quite figure out. When did

the Palestinians become a people? When did they become an ethnicity? About nineteen forty seven or so, the formation of the State of Israel, we suddenly heard of Palestinians. We'd always known Palestine was there, but there was never a people, a specific people associated with the land that they called Palestine. It's a made up tribe that's only there, and their only mission is the destruction of Israel and the murder of Jews. And college kids at Harvard and

other places are celebrating that atrocity. Hamas has a lot in common with planned parenthood. They both like to murder babies. The only difference is planned parenthood does it for profit? Take that issue one supporters coming up on five point fifty two. This is the most overtly political. I'll probably be all morning, but it's before six o'clock, so if you're up this early. I'm sure your tender ears can stand it. Five one, three, seven,

four, nine, seven thousand is the number to call. We will talk to our friend Dick. Dick from Dayton is coming right up on seven under wlwas MS. It's a it's a ukulele. Sometimes it's a mandolin. Sometimes it's the Bengals game. Dick from Dayton. Good morning, Dick, Good morning girl, Yef. Are you doing great? You know our friend Dave from Dayton is in Cape Coral, Florida right now. Yeah. But he had questions, so he texted me. He said, well, are Bengals

heading out to the left coast to San Francisco? Do the Bengals exercise two decades or the decades of demon of two Super Bowl trophies being ripped out of their hands? Do they do they take care of the forty nine ers tomorrow, Dick? That's what he wants to know. Yeah, yeah, I think they're going to win. I think last night I told Austin, I think I said twenty seven four file field golf. Yeah yeah, I mean a lot of games that you pick in and field goals. Is there a

reason for that? No? I just I always liked my fears. I think he could pull this through. So you're a field goal fan, Yeah, I got news for you. Yeah. One of my friends had a party, ukulelee party. I didn't get a chance to go. No, hold on, hold on, hold on a ukulele party. I've never heard of that before. Well, he handed it down by Caesars Creak at his farm, and guess who showed up, Mick. Mick has been out of commission because May had cancer gift and he's been with her for almost a year

and he's gonna come back to see us. But he wanted me to say hi. I called him. We talked about half an hour the other day. How about that? Well, I mean, is is May? Okay? Yes, she was in remission, but she's doing a lot better now. We had, you know, and we sounded a pretty good de other night. Buddy. So are you getting ready for the farewell tour? Yeah? No, really, No, we're going to keep preserving it. No, no, we're going to keep playing all through twenty twenty four. Okay,

you know, well, you know you can. You can sell more tickets if you can convince people it's your farewell tour. Just a night, buddy, Say good night, Dick. Good night, Garrett, Jeff, have a good day you too. Bye bye bye, Doctor James right of

right. Dental sings. Body showers are possible throughout your Saturday. Tempters are right around sixty now and we only warm up to the mid sixties this afternoon, but we do see a lot of dry time rain moves in tonight, doing it last for most of your Sunday, topping out in the low to mid sixties tomorrow. morning edition for Saturday, October twenty eight, twenty twenty three. Gary Jeff walker by your side only Saturday morning. And for the person who called and told my producer Liam that I should identify myself. I do appreciate any help that you can give. I've only been doing this show for twenty six and a half years. I've only been doing radio for forty three and it's good to have a reminder every once in a while from the audience about who you

are and what you do. So I do appreciate your call. Thank you very much. I mean, from the bottom of my heart, the fact that you care so much to make sure that I'm getting my proper due as your host. God bless you. Okay, that's out of the way. Seven minutes past the hour, White Castle, Benny, what are you doing. I've been listening to you all the time. I've been going through a lot of stuff for the last two years. Lost my dad, Bill, broke my shoulder, lost my mom a couple months ago. I hadn't deal

with that. Yeah, I mean a lot of drama. Yeah, how did you? How did you fall? Well? I was on my way to work on a Friday morning, loaded up my stuff in the car, missed a step on my apartment and right down. So well, I'm sorry. I'm deeply sorry to hear about the passing of your mother. Oh, I said, I lost dad too. Yeah, I know my parents, you know exactly. I mean, what can you do? That's part of life, see, I mean, well, you know what the thing is.

And talking to somebody like you this morning, Benny, with your situation and what you're dealing with personally, is a blessing to me because my father will turn eighty seven on Monday. Am I gone? But now this would be the first Thanksgiving without them? Give me Yeah, holidays are the time. Yeah, I bought me another, bought me another golden Wayne, Okay, yeah, I just I just went down to bite Viteberfest in Daytona.

Went three days down to the Keys and three days in Daytona. Well, it doesn't, doesn't It doesn't sound like your life's completely in the waist spin. No, listen, it's good to hear from you. I I got to move, but I'm glad that you called it. All right, take care of white Castle, Benny, Mister T. Mister T, Yeah, Hey, well were you were you doing something else? I'm sorry? Did I did I come to the phone at a bad time? Oh? No, scared debt. You're good, you're good, scared debt. I like

your costume too. Let me guess a broadcast or something. Is that what it is? Yeah? Sure? Hey, hey look here, I gotta I gotta. I got a costume too. All right, let's see if you can get it. Sounds it sounds so different over the phone. Well you know it's because you know, phone, TV, all that stuff. You know, it's still me. AnyWho, who's my here's my copy, here's my whre's my get up? Ready? High? Gary? Jeff? Uh? Uh? These these these are dedicated to uh, the oldest prototype

number one son Brad Okay, okay, birthday. Hey, when Fisher in schools, you know what what sometimes they take debate? Okay, so that should give you a clue. All right, all right, hey Gary, Jeah, believe me, believe me, I had I had a clue after the first time you ever called what what do you get when you cross the sheep with a monkey? You have no idea? A bad boom, a bad boo? All right? Garay jet Uh? How do lifeguards get to

work? Have you ever thought about that? No? Not really, but I guess you're gonna tell me. They uh, they carpool so uh so Garret yet, who can you? You're changing voices in the middle of the bet. No, No, that was my costume. That was That was who I was impersonating. Okay, what do you what do you think? So stupid? You are so ridiculous? What about spot wasn't it? What about spot On? Wasn't it? What? What? What? What? Monster? Is the best dancer? Mister t the Boogeyman? Goodbye. There's

a perplexing question I've been wrestling with. When does lack become love? When does something you enjoy becomes something you can't live without? I may never know the answer, but I do know I love listening to Bill cunning Bill Cunningham, Monday at twelve noon on seven hundred walw Take a look under your bed. Find stuff under there? What about jobs? No? Now, try your basement. There's a pair of overalls at overall you're not so into anymore?

A perfectly good laptop that hasn't sat in your lap in months, and even more stuff but still no jobs. Well you really have both. See stuff is defined as household articles considered as a group. Sometimes this stuff is no longer needed. Wait, no longer needed? That can't be right, because remember those jobs you were looking for, Those are really needed, and they're the stuff inside your stuff, even inside that winter coat that moved with

you to Phoenix. Our job is to unlock those jobs, and it starts when you donate your stuff to your local Goodwill. Here's how we do it. When you donate to Goodwill, we sell your stuff to provide job training for people right here in your community. So just by teaming up with Goodwill, you help create jobs. And isn't that worth partying with the leftover key tar from your eighties cover band Goodwill Donate stuff, Create jobs. Find your

nearest donation center at Goodwill dot org. A message from Goodwill in the ad Council coming up on six fifteen on a Saturday morning, Gary, Jeff Walker, and you on the Saturday Morning edition, the airwaves crackle with light, the spirit of radio coming alive once again. I always loved this. It was the late Don IMA's theme song on his television show and his last and on a Fox Business network. He used to wake up to that on weekday

mornings. A little rush. Our friend who knows all about the spirit of radio and the devices that bring us those friendly voices Old Radio Rick Washburn checking in with a reception report. Good morning, Ricky, how are you? I'm doing great, Gary, Jeff, how are you doing today? Fae fantastic. You know, it's another it's another gorgeous Saturday morning, and it's

almost gorgeous because I get to spend it with people like you. No at you man, by the way, it was great Old Radio Rick made a surprise appearance at the bar last Saturday, and it was great to see. It's it's been so long. And got a chance to meet another friend of yours, Jay Weaver, who proceeded to have a few but no, I mean and and Jay's great. We had a long, long talk and so I was glad that he kind of followed in in with you last Saturday.

But it was a nice visit, man, thanks for coming by. Interestingly enough, Jay is not your only regular listener. Who is a tuba? Is Shonado? Well there's there's mister birthday Tuba. That's right, So there's a claim the name for you. Yeah. Anyhow, Yes, how are you receiving us? And what are you receiving us? On? I got to give you a five by five this morning, loud and clear, on a nineteen fifty three Emerson. This is a Model seven twenty four. It

is such a cute little thing. It's a five tube, the so called All American five design, which was a standardized design used very often in the fifties and earlier. But this thing is not even eight inches across, it's not even six inches tall, and it's a clock radio and it has some really cool features, like, of course it's dropped the clock in the center, it's around and then the radio dial arcs around the outside of the clock,

which gives it a neat appearance. But the dial is kind of a bluish color, and the dial pointer is actually a light, a little beam of light, so not only can you see what station you're tuning in the dark, but it just has a really cool look to it. Interesting thing about this model is that Emerson called it nine smart house and garden colors, which included cherry red, hot, chocolate, forest green, cloud gray, Cyrillian blue, Currellian blue. I should still say that's a garage band,

sand pink, willow green, ebony. And for the particularly festive individual that purchased this one, new Ivory like, have all these cool colors and you bought the white great job. So Ivory, huh, it only played it only plays duets with Paul McCartney and Stevie Wonder. That's it. Okay, sound great? So now this is this is a tube radio. It is.

It's a five tube in nineteen fifty three. Was not It certainly wasn't late in the game as far as two radios go, because the had the first little shirts shirt pocket radios that were all transistor weren't until about that year.

But yeah, but like it was a standard five tube design called the All American five that every every manufacturer tweaked a little bit so they could avoid having to pay r CE for some of the patents, but for the most part, they were all very similar, which does make it nice as far as repairing goes, because you know what you're going to expect when you open it up. Now it does? Does it have an alarm? It does?

And actually a couple of other nice features about this. You can have the radio be part of the alarm or not, which was not always the case on these. You you had to listen to radio and it's the radio didn't wake up then, And it's got the the appliance outlets so if you prefer to wake up to the smell of freshly brewed coffee, you can do that. So you plugging the coffee pot, you're plugging the coffee pot or the toaster to the radio. Yeah. See now that the alarm goes on.

That cool. That's way that's way cool. And it saves you an extra extension cord, you know what I'm saying. Oh yeah, and the outlet can actually handle enough power that you actually could run a toaster on and I'll buy it send it to me. The customer might not go along with I just love the fact you can set the time on the front of the clock instead of reaching around the back. That's not a common thing either.

Its usually so hard to to set the time or set the alarm or the time because there's usually that long stick that stuck out the back of the old Yeah, I know what you're talking about, old old radio Rick talking about the difficulty of the set the alarm reach around. Uh. If you want to know more about old radios, or if you've got one of those beautiful antique models, you can contact Rick Washburn at old Radio Rick at gmail dot

com. Bud did my budd trigger treating and when I got back it, Daddy took my stinker's mom the kit cats, Grandpa took the twist, Grandma to cups. Now I have this candy corn and Candy Corneous Sucks can keep your hands off our candy. We're the ones who slept it door to door and the last thing we want is to be left with the sack of candy corn. A holiday reminder from seven hundred Candy Corneous Sucks. Now you can relive the greatest moment from our twenty shours around, but we stay dry for

the majority of your Saturday. Just a few chances here and there is Tempters top out in the mid sixties. Tonight's when a lot of the rain moves in and lasts for most of your Sunday. Come barely, whiskey down, James. I'm gonna chase that blues away, baby. Head out to the country man. I'm a member of a country club when I had to Ripley, Ohio. And how now Brown County to see my friends at Brookies on Main Street, standing outside on the street, Doug and the gang, Good

morning, Good morning. It's a gang of two that sounds like some that sounds like some awful political thing. It's a gang of two. We had the gang of five in Cincinnati that we're all guilty of breaking the law and still somehow remained in office. So I guess the gang of two is okay out in Brown County. So what are you in the green horn? Are you in a green hornet? Actually out on the street in front of Brookies?

Is that what I'm hearing? We are? Yeah, yeah, we're in here with all the other butts here laying on the ground, you know. Oh yeah, Well that's that's your fault, Ohio, for voting in the indoor smoking band years ago. Yes, we've got down here Brookies, big party tonight. The of course, not here at Jack's off, but we do have the big Halloween party from a Rebel Sound Club and coming up Wednesday again will be the Queen of Heart Straw and be Ordship. Okay,

you broke up over fifty thousand. The Queen of Hearts in the Halloween party goes from eight till when eight till twelve tonight with the Rebel Sound Club. Okay, whatever that is, I'm sure it's great. Green hornet, Green hornet. What are you dressing up as for Halloween? Well, I haven't decided yet. I have to let you know next week several things. Will it be something green? Oh I'm shy green on our pannessy night we bowl and we're supposed to be dressing up like the fifties, so I'll have some

kind of fifties outfit on. So I haven't decided, all right, And let me ask you, Doug Monson, because I know you're a big fan of Halloween. So what what will you be? What will you be dressing up as a Schaeffer lubricant rep. Sure that's a good one. Yeah that I'll sit on the porch and pass out uh our goodies there on Tuesday night, you know. Yeah, Well, I mean you gotta you gotta.

If you're gonna be dressed as a shafer oil rep or lubricant rep, you've gotta you gotta, you know, sit on the porch and hand out samples of citrol and and diesel oil and we'll take us up. Okay, all right, very good. Well what's the weather beaver? Say Sherry. Well, we've had a shower here this morning about five thirty, so the weather rock is wet. It's not raining now. But he uh, hey, the people want me to how you fix a jack o lantern? Do you

know how to do that? How you fix a jack o' lantern? Answered the huh with a pumpkin patch? Oh jeez, it's I need. I need to call Dave from Harrison back. Guys, thank you very much. I gotta go. Okay, I have a great weekend. The Halloween party at Brookies tonight. I'm sure it'll be scary, kind of like the wet t shirt contest. Was Steve fromtn Ohio, looking forward to this phone call.

It's coming up next for you on seven hundred WLW at six thirty nine, seven hundred WLW Cincinnati, Available everywhere with the iHeartRadio app down number one for podcasting seven hundred WLW and iHeartRadio station. Hi, I'm doctor James, right other Beaver and Ripley. We do have a slight chance of rain shower here and there today, but this is not the onslaught that tomorrow will be rain and fifty four. Tonight's steady rain in the morning. Tomorrow, showers

continuing in the afternoon. Even some rumbles of thunder are possible. High of fifty eight and rain early Monday. Our high temp on Monday only forty seven WLW Sport Liam Tomlinson. Excitement on the Diamonds in Texas last night in Game one of the World Series, Tell me about it? Yeah, absolutely electric. Game one of the World Series, Absolute classic. The Rangers took the game six' five and extra innings, eleventh inning to be specific, thanks

to Adalyas garcia walk off home run. That is the first World Series walk off home run since twenty eighteen. All right, so five years ago. Yeah, it's a pretty long time. FC Cincinnati is going to the playoffs, the MLS Playoffs for the first time. They are hosting at TQL under what looks like some pretty sketchy conditions weatherwise, but they're facing off against the Red Bulls. They have beaten the Red Bulls and tied the Red Bulls so

far this year. Tell me about this and where people can hear it. Yeah, kickoff is tomorrow at eight pm and you can listen to that here on ESPN fifteen thirty. Meanwhile, the Bengals and forty nine Ers tangle in a four to twenty five kickoff from San Frae and tomorrow, and San Francisco is favored. The Bengals are kind of on a roll the last couple of games. It'll be interesting to see how it all shakes down. Yeah, it should be fun underdogs. The line kind of moved once the party news

came out. Party still might play. Pregame coverage starts at two thirty and you can listen to that also on ESPN fifteen thirty and here on seven hundred WLW. I'm excited for that. It's a get right game. Let's kind of see how the season is. Where we brought to you by Cincinnati Children's Changing the Outcome Together. It was week one of the Ohio High School Playoffs.

Last week of regular season high school football in Kentucky, Simon Kenton Pioneers traveled to Ashland and lose to the Paul G. Blazer High School forty nine forty two. Sorry about your luck. We can't play defense, I guess. Winton Woods defeats LaSalle twelve to six. More destroys wes Claremont forty nine thirteen, sainte X Steamrose steamrolls Springboro thirty five thirteen, Elder beats Oak Hills twenty eight to fourteen, and Mount Healthy falls to Chaminade. Did I say

that right? Shamanad thirty five eight. All right, very good, and you can work on your pronunciations for the for the next sportscast around seven to twenty. Thank you very much. We'll talk to Steve from met In, Ohio coming right up in this week's Mark wy Jail alte jail. Why y'all,

wow? What listen? Sometimes war is necessary, especially when one side attacks you for no reason and kills fourteen hundred of your residents men, women, children, and little tiny babies, as Hamas did to Israel in October

seventh. And if you be careful what you wish for, because Israel will and is and should go after every single last terrorist in the Gaza and kill them, kill them all and sadly, in war there are going to be collateral damage and death to civilians, both Israeli Jewish and the Palestinians, whoever they are maybe to talk about that. We have not been briefed on Steve's soliloquy this morning, so let's get right to It's Steve from ETNA on the

line with a pithyphone call and news of the week. Good morning, Hi Gary, Jeff. Yeah, this is just a reminder of General Patton. You have to kill Germans. It's the only thing they understand, that's right. Yeah, Okay, where where did doctor Mengele's kids wind up? I think there are Issue one supporters here in Ohio. The Issue one supporter say it's all about getting government out of health care decisions. Really does that include

Medicare, Medicaid and Obamacare? Medicare and Medicaid? Don't think you thought that one through? Lefties going to get a lot of pushback on that one. Yeah, you're phony. The tipping point has been reached. Columbus City schools tax levy opposed by some school teachers. Really, they say they live in Columbus and can't afford the increase in their property tax and the schools aren't trying hard enough to cut cold. Holy cow, I never thought i'd see it.

New York Mayor Adams says he's going to use tents to house the illegals now that the hotels are all booked up. Remember those pictures of the nineteen thirties of people putting tents up in Central Park. Okay, Well entered Chief Nakahoma. Remember him. He's the former mascot of the former Cleveland Indians. Yes, my staff researched this. We found him. He's now the owner of four casinos in the West. He's a billionaire and prone to practical jokes.

So he's sending New York five thousand deepees with the message walk in my shoes. Great not so white warrior. Oh God, that guy is a card. Oh God, bring back to Cleveland Indians. Please. Skokie, Illinois. Whatever that city's right outside of Chicago is, you know, comes up in the news or something. I always think of. The ACLU gone

to court to support the right of the KKK to march in Skokie. The reason the KKK did it many years ago was that they wanted to show off to the Jews that, you know, they were more powerful and they didn't like them. This is a Jewish enclave, by the way, and this week Hamas from Chicago. Oh well, we'll get back to that. Hamas from Chicago gang beat up a Turning Point, USA guy who was escorting older Jews to a meeting. The police looked on did nothing. Yeah. By

the way, Hamas is Arabic for Nazi. The jew hatred epidemic has a very interesting unintended consequence that I don't think anybody's mentioned yet. It makes gun control just another Jewish phenomenon, because if you're a Jew and unarmed, your life expectancy has reduced. Period. You know, back in the sixties, Gary Jeff, there was an organization called JDL Jewish Defense League which was very militant and operated here in the country. Bring back the JDL. I love

those people. Are you a w should be negotiating with Hamas? Yeah, I'd send them over there, because if the car companies are any indication, Hamas would be out of business in a couple of weeks. There you go, thank you, uaw Jack. Yeah, one person, just one person you know who's crazy and maybe you know support some moss or something you know, and only one, just just one, my Orcus, are you nuts? We've got hamas Sells operating here already and more coming in thanks to General

several several of them on college campuses across the country. Oh absolutely, thank you, Alejandro, once again mitigating the disaster that will surely give us World Trade Center three point zero World Trade Center was bombed in nineteen ninety three. Then there was two one. I'm waiting for the third. It'll come by the way, Adiejandro. Let's see nine to eleven nineteen lone wolves, Right, what a jack ass. Oh, if the Pulitzer Prize were legitimate,

of course it isn't. The award would go to Woodward and Bernstein. I think they're both still alive, assuming that they would now eagerly attack this DC who'd done it? Listen carefully, when Joe Biden was his vice president for eight years, what did Barry Obama know and when did he know it? The famous Watergate question, lone Wolf, Joe Biden, I think not. Why aren't people asking what did Barry Obama know and when did he know it?

He can't be so freaking stupid that for eight years he didn't know his vice president was using air force two to go to and back from China with his son. There you go, Gary Jeff, an old journalist like me asking new journalists to do their freaking job. Hey, take care of yourself. Hey you too. Thank you, Steve from etn Ohio. By the way, Chief Knakahoma was with the Atlanta Braves. I was informed just in the corrections department. The other thing that I wanted to mention I will in

just a moment. There's only one thing we love better in football, and that's tailgating. And there's no better way to enjoy both than in a news to the predicament that we find ourselves in that the world finds itself in. At this point in twenty twenty three, with war in Israel, on the Gaza Strip and perhaps several other fronts Arabs trying to kill Jews, it's the same old story. But let's blame who's really at fault here. Iran.

Well, they're certainly providing the support and funding and the weapons for Hamas and Hisbala and the rebels in Yemen. The Huthi remmels what Islamic jihad. Iran's fingerprints, their whole hand prints all over this. They are responsible for fomenting and for planning this violence, because they also like to shout in the streets, death to Israel, death to America. So you say, really to blame, I guess you could blame the Jews or as in, the Israelis,

for the occupation of Gazo that's no longer going on. If it was, this would not be happening, or for the settlements on the West Bank or whatever. But now now you could blame the Palestinians. You could blame Hamas, and they of course bear the brunt of the blame for this, because they are the terrorists who perpetrated this first act and committed mass genocide of

Jews in Israel. But the real blame for what's going on right now in the world, from Ukraine to the Middle East to what could be going on very soon in Taiwan, and for our lack of energy independence and all of that right at the doorstep at sixteen hundred Pennsylvania Avenue. Ultimately, this does not happen. This does not happen if we have a strong leader in the

White House as president of these United States of America. Of course, we haven't had one since January twentieth of twenty twenty one, when Joe Biden took office. You want to put the blame where it belongs, right there in the big guy's lap. I've never been prouder that I voted for Donald Trump and would do it again. In a heartbeat Food for Thought, NUV said, it's game day at Jim's house and he's the lightiest. Fourcasts. As

Audy I'm Gary, Jim Walker, you or you and that's perfectly fine with me, really it is.

But don't expect me to not tell you you're wrong when you are. This guy says it straight. Steve Shulty standing by listen. Environmental News went to the very first Earthday in nineteen seventy and since then he's learned a lot. Environmental Engineer extraordinaire talking to us again about well, just just some ridiculous stuff that we pay too much attention to, like the late organic and more.

Steve Shulty, good morning, how are you, my friend? Good morning, Garret Jet better than I deserve as always yourself doing great, Thank you so much, sir. So you were talking about the organic propaganda that we're all was surrounded by. So this week there was a posting or newsletter from the American Council on Science and Help, which can find them at a c SH dot org ac SH dot org, and the headline reads as the British

Broadcasting Company spews organic farming propaganda the world's poor sufferers. Now I'm not going to talk about the world poor per se, but just some really good facts of this article. The BBC came under fire from the Think Tank Science for a Sustainable Agriculture for posting misleading pro organic statements such as quote organic oak and beef are produced without using antibiotics or and organic farmers do not apply pesticides to

their crops. So apparently the BBC is short on fact checkers because in fact, organic farmers do use pesticides as well as other chemicals. According to our own US Department of Agriculture, dozens of synthetic substances are allowed under our US

rules and are commonly used in growing and processing the organic crops. Many organic pesticides are more toxic and more significant have more significant environmental harm than their counterparts and conventional agriculture, especially fungicides like copper sulfate, which can kill beneficial insects

and animals. Moreover, in an iconic paper which I did read many years ago by the University of California Berkeley, professor Bruce Aimes and his colleagues demonstrated that ninety nine zero point nine to nine percent of pesticide residue in the human diet are substances present naturally in plants to protect them from insects. Will repeat. Ninety nine point nine to nine percent of pesticile residences. Residues in the

human diet are substances naturally present in plants to protect them from insects. And I was I was worried about even eating an apple with with what the al are on it. But apparently there are more things that God put into into vegetables and crops that we eat than we've even thought about putting on. As you got it, and many of them you cannot pronounce very easily. The BBC website goes on to claim that compared to organic agriculture, conventional farming reduces

biodiversity. However, organic farming produces reduced crop yields, averaging twenty to forty percent less so than conventional crops. So what does that mean, gene Yet, you got to use more land and more water to compensate for these low yields, and the increased land use for a gang farming will in turn what reduce what wild places still remain. Yeah, and at the same time it's

jacking the cost up for the consumer right and bossibly the poor. The last thing is the BBC also complained that conventional agriculture farmers are using seeds which have been altered by the scientific method Again, all crops repeat, all crops have been genetically modified in one way or another over the past one thousand years. Yes, band has been genetically modifying crops for over a thousand years. Just that the newest methods, which is rec you know which you're basically team splitting.

I mean that's what we do now. This is more precise and more predictable and far safer than traditional breeding. So but the biggest one I like to tell people, and I tell people all this all the time, it's how much, how many? How much pesticides we ingest that Mother nature creates from the very beginning in order to protect fruits and vegetables from insects. We

all man got into the synthetic business. We always think that we're we have so much control over climate, over crops, and the fact of the matter is we have very little. Thank you, Steve Schulte, appreciate the information. So take that with your organic stamp organic beats. We have one Why are you wait with me? Why? Okay? Again? About you? Of course? From the New Rolling Stones album Hackney Diamonds Angry, I gotta tell you from what I've heard of We've all heard that track. It was the first release from this new set from the Rolling Stones. Incredible stuff considering these guys are

all in their upper seventies early eighties. Bill Wyman is playing with him again in all kinds of big names on this all star album by the Rolling Stones. So in light of that, we've got our friend from money music dot Com, John Marshall, joining us this morning with a top ten list of the top ten most valuable Rolling Stones records of all time. Mighty John from Maine. Good morning, How are you, my friend? I am well. Good morning to you, Gary Jeff. Great to be back with you.

It's great to have you back. So this is a top ten list of valuable records. If you have these Stones records on vinyl, depending of course upon their condition, you may be sitting on top of a gold mine. But I advise you not to sit on top of your records. You could warp them all right. So number ten is a forty five Number ten. We've come down from ten to one. I can't get no satisfaction. Well you can if you have the forty five with its picture sleeve currently up

to three fifty dollars. Picture sleeve is always an important factor, especially with forty fives. Let's crank up a little satisfaction puts everybody's signalog. It can't be worse than Jagger, that's more, said Fat scrub. Try try try the study something sad king said, Fat s Are you satisfied? Or what rock and roll archeology with a different turn, and I take special umbrage into the man comes on the radio with some useless information. I was thinking of

you at that time. Moneymusic dot com is the website they appraise vinyl records and so flea markets, yard sales, something that was passed on from your granddaddy's daddy or whatever. You might want to perk your ears up this morning and listen there. You may be holding on to one of these valuable pieces

of vinyl, your very self. The top ten most valuable Rolling Stones records according to money music dot Com This morning, at number nine is a London album, The album There's a Tech Majesty's Request stereocopy upped about fifty dollars, but a mono copy currently up to four hundred dollars. Well you pay more for one channel than two. That's incredible. Absolutely. Now number eight on your list is another Rolling Stones album. But this is the very first US

album, very first US album Rolling Stones. Some we call the Rolling Stones that too, currently up two four hundred dollars. All right, and as we get to number seven, now we're back to the small disc, the forty five. You need the little adapter in the middle of your turntable to play this. What do we got here? Well, get the old Buddy Holly classic Not Fade Away by the Rolling Stones with its picture sleeve, currently

up to five hundred dollars. You know, I'm not crazy about a lot of covers, but the Rolling Stones do a fantastic job with the Buddy Hobbes, you know, like the Beatles did great jobs with remakes from the fifth He's Little Richard and the like. So up to five hundred dollars with the picture sleeve. And that's also the first forty five for Rush Not Fade Away, and they've copy up to one thousand dollars. No kidding. Yeah, my wife would know that. She's a huge Rush fan. She's listening.

Go you dummy, I knew that. But the pictures explain the picture sleeve thing, because that's always mystified me that the picture sleeve is where the value of a lot of forty five's really is in. Well, you know, not every forty five came with a picture sleeve. Perhaps about five to seven percent of all forty fives released came with the picture sleeve, but they didn't last. You bought the record, you tack the picture sleeve up on the wall or something, and it faded away over the years, and so a

less of them survived, and so that makes the value much higher. Okay, so this is easier to find the record than the picture sleeve. A top ten list of the most valable Rolling Stones records from Money music dot Com. Then nine eight seven. Oh, we're up to number six, I believe, is that correct? Great rock and roll record Heart of Stone or the Rolling Stones with its picture sleeve up to six hundred bucks. There be so many girls that I've known, I've made so many crimes, and still

I wonder why I see you want with anaste just all myself. I try n wrong with me. This on a stone? Oh no, no, this is hard stone. What's different of famine? I don't really know, No matter hell track I just can't make a crime getting in touch with their blues roots. But is a great record. Hardest Stone on the moneymusic dot Com list of the top ten Thank you, uh money Music top ten records had had a producer problems. He's breathing. Uh so anyway, where are

we at on the list? Is this number five? John? Number five? Yes, the Beast of Burden fort with its pictus leave up to three thousan dollars, just as they pressed many copies of Best of Burden. I'm sure, but the pictureusly not so many shows a lion sitting on top of a woman got to be kind of offensive, and so they didn't release too many. And there are many many counterfeits on this record. An original would have a light lavender color, a fake would have a deep grape purple color.

So you have to be careful in our price, guys that we put out. We list all known counterfeits and describe them so that you don't get snugered. Well, let's now get snuggered. No, I don't want to be on Pete burning. That's how we used to sing it. Number five on the Money Music Dot Town list of Valuable Stones records. Boom that's a curtain. Weep, not the baby your face first at cloom aroun up a range up, I'm not to see your pa is a food start cut using

lady moment. If you've got the right real cobby of bad forty five, it's not a fake widget's pictures leave you could be three thousand dollars richer my friend this morning number four on the list of Rolling Stone's valuable vinyl. It's another album, John Well, one of the great Big Hits, High Tide and green Grass. Millions of copies out there. How can it be worth money? Will if you have a copy, look at the cover. If the words big Hits, High Tide, and green Grass are printed on three

lines in upper case lettering, fifty bucks. But if the title on the cover is printed on one line in lower case lettering, up to seventy five hundred dollars amazing from that album, that compilation album. You mean a chill do kill and so you try. You just can't hide you or hide as with me, you know, don't stop it. Put the ground then you are your color and I don't take up when you go shot in a tree just kind of theb frow up right and you all a flat a thousand car

Your father is still perfecting ways of making sealing Wax. Incredible lyrics at number three on this list. Mighty John Marshall is another Stones album, and if you've got the right one, it's worth a lot of money. Well it's twelve by five. A lot of copies out there, but this time around you got to look

for a blue vinyl copy, not black vinyl. Blue vinyl twelve by five curly up two, ten thousand dollars amazing At number two on your list. Another forty five. Well, this was the first forty five released in the States by the Rolling Stones. Never made the charts, but still in our hearts because it's worth so much money. I want to be your man on one side and Stoned on the flip side. But I like about Stoned. After you hear the lyrics, just once you remember them, because there's only

one lyric, Stoned. I think we've played that before in one of our sessions. That's good. Now, how much is that if you've got that London forty five, the first Stone single in the States, how much does that worth in no picture slave? Yep, up to twelve thousand dollars no picture sleeve. Don't have to worry about that part. But very few copies printed. I would imagine very few copies sold because they say it never made the charts, and so you know, yeah, yeah, yeah, And

is that the same? I want to be your man that the Beatles also covered it is all right, all right, I like I like the Beatles version better important stuff for collectors to john, Just real quickly before we close out and get to number one, what's the most valuable kind of vinyl you could possess? Generally? Generally most of the value is going to be in rock and roll, blues, soul, jazz in some country. Those are the five categories you want to concentrate on, not spoken word, not comedy,

not regional stuff. And also pre World War two blues records. Is that correct? That's true? Yeah, blues records that came out prior to World War two extremely collectible. Robert Johnson, the father of the Blues, put out twenty nine different seventy eight's each of them worth up to ten thousand dollars. Fantastic. Well, I want to remind folks, moneymusic dot Com

is the name of the website. You have a YouTube show as well, right John, Yeah, the YouTube show is the right the past it right there on the website as well, so you can link right over to them, all right. Fantastic And if anybody wants a complete Listingfromneymusic dot Com they can get the little thumb dry for their computer. YEP made a list of values for over a million records by over seventy five thousand different recording artists.

You just look them up, everything listed alphabetically by recording artists and they'll tell you exactly what it's worth, all right. And the number one most valuable Rolling Stones song or album after the advent of the brand new album Hagney Diamonds, which was out this week, what do we got? Well, street Fighting Man. That's the big one. The record itself worth up about ten bucks, but the picture sleeve was street Fighting Man currently up to eighteen thousand

dollars. Why is it just very well? Yeah, Well, what happened nineteen sixty eight Democratic Convention in Chicago mayor Daily forbid Chicago radio stations for playing the song because he thought it's going to cause more riots. And even though the song wasn't even meant about the riots in the streets, it became identified with them. And the picture sleeve shows the cops and the protesters fighting with

each other. And record company didn't put out that many just sleeps because of that serving, you know, to hurt the clean cut image of the Rolling Stones or the clean cut image of Chicago. Mighty John, thank you very much. Man. All right, thank you, Gary. I have a fantastic weekend. Mighty John Marshall from Money music dot Com. A little tasty

And speaking of the Cryptkicker five on Tuesday night, the upcoming the Halloween Nightcap that I will be doing. Jim Lebarbera who wasn't with us this morning, will be joining me for a full hour with top ten Halloween songs. And he's got the prophet has

all kinds of stories about everybody and and everything. So yeah, I'm looking forward love be listening, Uh, Gary, Jeff, you ever, you know, you log into your computer and uh and you you just you just can't remember your passwords, you know, and uh, you got like three tries or something, and that like shuts you down. And sometimes we'll go go to your hint page and you're like, what was your favorite what was your first dog's name or your first kind of first car? Did you try?

And if you're at work, you know, especially after COVID, people go to work after like being away for like six months, and I don't remember the password to go down to Joe, I t a, can you reset? So he reset the password with all these people. Well, there's a guy out there. He was he's a programmer, Steve Thomas and twenty eleven, good old Steve. He uh, he did a video and a video was what is bitcoin? And he decided he got paid eight and bitcoin

back then and it was set like seven thousand and two bitcoins. Okay, porl. Steve forgot his password. He created a encrypted wallet password for his uh, seven thousand bitcoins. They were two dollars each back then and another thirty nine thousand, thirty four thousand three aren't nineteen dollars per coin? Wow? Over two hundred and forty almost two hundred forty million dollars and do it? He can't. He gave him a lot of ten tries. He's got

two left. He's uh, he's signed a contract with two other encryption codebreakers to try to get into this into his into his wallet. And this other company actually is approaching him because they know they can do it, because they have wrote a program specifically for this iron called an iron key hard drive. The guy is and he's they've actually tested it and they can get into it.

But he's got a consigned contract with two other companies to try to break into his wallet, and uh, let's just let's just say it's got a lot of riding on it. And I wonder what their cut is too, no doubt. Well, I mean my friend Dave Hatter, who you may or may not be familiar with. He's great IT guy here in town and

a regular guest of mine. Uh. We talk about passwords, unique passwords all the time, and mine are always so goofy that I can't help but remember them, Like like one time it was sheep four, the number four rent as dancers. So you know, I'll come up with like song titles or you know, the lyrics from songs, or you know, like good morning Starshine by by Oliver. One time the password was glibby glop gloopy nibby yappaupie lo lo low low low. So wo do you remember how to spell

at each time? Yeah? Young, No, you're right, You're right about that. It's got to be a little less complicated. But yeah, passwords are very important. Good Morning, Kids, Time, Well Gibbs from Wally. First off from the Land of shout Outs. Happy birthday, Ron Smith. I hope, whoever you are, I hope it's a great day. And Wally himself what This segment is named after the former insecurity guard that worked in this building, Wayne Walla Gorsky saw him yesterday at the bar.

Great to see him doing good. Just a shout out Wally's It's always good to know that you're still there for us. Ah the Phone Call. An elderly man in Phoenix calls his son in New York and says, I hate to ruin your day, son, but I got to tell you that your mother and I are divorcing. Forty five years of misery is more than enough. Pop, What are you talking about? So we can't stand the side of each other any longer. We're sick of each other and I'm sick

of talking about this. So you call your sister in Chicago and tell her and he hangs up. Franic the Sun calls his sister, who explodes on the phone, like heck, they're getting divorced. I'll take care of this. She calls Phoenix immediately and screams at the old man, You're not getting divorced. Don't do a single thing until I get there. I'm calling brother Beck. We'll both be there tomorrow. I'm buying the plane tickets. Until

then, don't do a thing, do you hear me? The old man hangs up the phone, turns to his wife says, Okay, they're coming for Thanksgiving? What do we do to get him here for Christmas? Seven hundred WLW, Cincinnati, available everywhere with the iHeartRadio app yell number one for podcasting seven hundred WLW and iHeartRadio station. Do you idea for an invention or

new product and don't know what to do next? Inventors help can help you get Big Football Weekend, World Series Weekend, Big Soccer weekend in Cincinnati for FC and the curious questions about NFL officiating that many of us have been asking after the first six seven weeks of the season. Moegger is on hiatus. He's on assignment, probably in Stillwater, Oklahoma, or headed that direction for the UC Oklahoma State game tonight, which we will have, of course,

kickoffs at eight and our coverage begins. I believe it's seven o'clock on the Home of the Bearcats. Joining us in most stead is the guy who previously was the producer of this program and now has gone onto being well. He's producing for other people and he is definitely producing on the air. Austin Elmore, Good morning, sir. How are you. I'm doing well, Gary Jeff. It's an honor to be here in a pinch. No, thanks for answering the all. Otherwise I would have had Liam stumble through this segment

with me. God knows nobody needs that. No. I actually, Liam is, He's coming along. He just he just needs to understand his place, as you always. The thing that I really like about Liam is he's got an unbelievably good attitude. Oh he work every day and that'll get you somewhere. No, I mean, and he understands the value of screwing up too, because he is. He is learning a lot through that function. So so Austin, first off, I wanted to talk to Moe about but

you will definitely do and I'm so glad you were available. Thank you very much. After watching some of the action the last couple of weeks in the NFL. I just paused and thought, you know what, it's it's more difficult than ever to get to players or to get to coaches from the gambling realm onto the field, but it seems like the officials aren't out of reach. And do you think it's time? Do you think it's time that NFL

officials were made full time employees? Yeah? Absolutely, I do. I mean, you look at the gambling thing is the number one issue that faces this situation because you can't watch a sporting event at all. You really can't watch TV and not be berated with gambling commercials and promo codes and all this

different stuff for all these different sites. And you have to look around and say, okay, well, if this is everywhere and we have officials that are missing what seemed to be easy calls, then eventually people are going to start putting the pieces together. Whether or not it's true, you cannot afford the image that these guys are being influenced by what's going on in Vegas and

what's going on with all these gambling sites. So yes, I don't know why a league like the NFL that makes millions and millions and millions of dollars every single year, cannot invest in their officiating program and do something to make these guys in these ladies full time, and not only that, to be more transparent with the process. Again, because of the same situation, take

us inside the videos. If you go to an NFL stadium and there is a review, nowadays they put what the official was seeing on the scoreboard in the stadium. Well, they need to do that on TV too. They need to expedite somebody these faster replays that we have seen a little bit the last couple of years where they just buzz down to the official and they fix it right on the spot rather than going to the replay. I think at this point the NFL has to explore making everything reviewable, at least in the

last two minutes. Maybe it's with the challenge flag, maybe it's with some other means, but everything at this point needs to be reviewable and the decision making needs to be more trans parent, just to prevent people from connecting those dots and coming up with those theories. The average NFL official makes about two hundred and five thousand dollars a year part time. Depending on the position. You know, headlinesman may make lesser more than you know, a back judge.

But anyway, they are not full time employees. And I mean particularly the end of that Browns game last weekend was just our old friend Elliott Rearing described it as horse you know what. The end of that game was ridiculous. Yeah, it's awful, and like, there are so many issues with

the game in terms of like especially with the passing interference penalty. And what I don't understand is how there will be these rules that eventually will just kind of slowly stop being enforced and then the NFL will put an emphasis on it and then everybody starts calling it again, and so it's like, how does that happen? And whire is there no consistency? And then the one rule that drives me nuts that I cannot figure out why they don't call is when

it comes to pass interference uncatchable passes. Now, the NFL wide receivers are unbelievable free gathletes, and you do have to give them the benefit of a doubt, but also as an official, you got to use common sense. Can you really be interfered with on a pass that you can't catch a pass that's going to land up against the wall or go into the stands and that's

in the rule book. It's never enforced. It drives me crazy. I don't understand why it doesn't get enforced more consistently, but I think that's something that making those people full time you can kind of create an academy, you

can kind of create a system for them to come up. And I think the other thing, Gary Jeff, is that football is the number one sport in the United States of America and there are different level, different rules and significantly different rules at all three levels, the high school level, the college level of the NFL. We need to get those those rules more streamlined and make basically one set of rules, yes, uniform and make that easier on

the officials as well. Who FC Cincinnati plays their first MLS playoff game at home at TQL. How about the Orange and Blue this year? Is it already? Is it already just a fantastic season that's going to draw fans back next year to TQL or do they have more work to do? Yeah, it's already a fantastic season, and winning the Supporter Shield is a big deal, and I don't know that maybe it's gotten enough appreciation for really what it

is. And you know, if you think back to the old days of Major League Baseball when it was the American League against the National League, it was a big deal to win the National League pennant and go to the World Series. That it's comparable what FC Cincinnati did winning the Supporter Shield. So yes, it's a successive of a season. And you have I think seven

players nominated for eight postseason award. It's Pat Newton a finalist for Coach of the Year, of Blucciano Acosta probably going to win the league's MVP Award, Roman Celatano up for Goalkeeper of the Year. And then on top of that, you've got Pat Noonan signing a contract extension, Chris Albright signing a contract extension, Luciano Acosta signing a contract extension. So they have really planted the seed for the future and this season is one of the best seasons in the

history of Major League Soccer. They come into their game tomorrow night, Gary Jeff as favorites to win the MLS Cup at plus three thirty three. Let's go back to those gambling odds. And that's very, very good, especially in a sport that is as unpredictable as soccer and with a new playoff format that features a best of three in the first round. So Vegas loves them. The rest of the league knows just how talented they are. They have

so much talent all over the field. They're attacking, they got one of the best defenders in Major League Soccer and Matt Viosga. So yeah, it's an unbelievable season with very high expectations, and the expectation, truthfully is just to go and win MLS Cup. We obviously, the Texas Rangers are playing the Arizona Diamondbacks in the twenty twenty three World Series Game one last night under the Belts, a walk off win for the Rangers six to five, shaven

up to be a very exciting series. But I'd like to focus just for a moment on the manager that just lost to the Rangers in the ALCS or in the Championship Series. Dusty Baker, who retired this week after what is an incredible managing career, finally got the World Series win last year. Just his thoughts on Dusty Baker as he closes out his career. Dusty Baker, first Team All good guy. I didn't think he ended up getting a fair shake with the Reds at the end, but just a guy who loves baseball.

Baseball Lifer gave everything to the game of baseball, and he has been around forever. He played with Hank Aaron back in the day, the inventor of the High Five. People forget Dusty Baker in been in the High five. It's just a guy like if you look back to when they won the World Series last year, we are so used to seeing all the players run out onto the field to celebrate, but when the Astros won the World Series last year, they all ran to the end of the dugout to celebrate with

Dusty Baker. And you know, we see it with former Reds all the time who played with them, the Bronson Arroyos, the Ken Griffy Juniors, the Todd Fraziers, the Jay bruce Is, who just talked endlessly about how

much they love Dusty Baker and loved playing for Dusty Baker. And I think, ultimately I'm so glad that he ended up winning that World Series finally, but his legacy will be how much of a great player's manager he was and all the great memories that the players were able to have playing for him. Yeah, this is a guy too. As a player. People sometimes forget that it's been so long. He was a guy who who consistently was a

threat anyway to hit forty home runs in a season. I mean, the guy could play, the guy could manage, and you know, it's nice to see him go out on pretty much a high note with the World Series victory last year. Do you think the UC Bearcats basketball team will fare any better in the Big Twelve than UC football has so far? I think they will fare much better than the football team will. They will certainly fare a lot better if they're able to get those two transfer waivers. I know that

they're lowyering up. I think Yost is getting Dave Yost is getting involved and looking at the NC DOUBLEA to get these transfer waivers fixed. So if they're able to get those two guys, it will be a season in which they very well could make the NC DOUBLEA tournament. But the way I see it, the basketball program is light years ahead of the football program right now.

Isn't that amazing? And you wouldn't have said that two years ago. It's been just the opposite, just the opposite, all right, And of course, gambling is always the elephant in the room. These days, with legal gambling available, its ubiquitous, it's everywhere. Producer. Liam actually won three parlor last night, which I just find hard to believe. That's betting a parlay and winning one is extremely difficult. But to bet three, has he

got a horseshoe hidden somewhere that we can't see. Well, the thing about Liam and the thing about myself is we're a couple of sharps, Gary Jeff, just two nights ago, I also won three parlays. So you know, I think maybe you should start listening to Liam, start listening to what he has to say. The guy see each leaves and breathes gambling. I heard him last week talking to a bookie on the phone, So I mean, this is just who he is, and so maybe he can help you

out and get you a couple extra bucks in your pocket. It's legal in Kentucky. Now, oh yeah, I understand it's legal. It's just I find other ways to spend my grocery money, like on groceries. So what what are you doing this weekend, Austin? You know, Gary Jeff, I'm off this weekend. I was in for Lance a couple of times this weekend. I'm just going to be watching football. Ween party coming up tonight. We're gonna enjoy some beverages and some friendship. All right, are you

dressing as a big guy? I am dressing up as someone, but I can't say who because it's a surprise. Oh really, a little bit of intrigue. Austin Elmore, Thanks for thanks for filling in here this morning. I know Moe called in the middle of it. I said, well, we're already in the middle of our conversation. I hope he's not upset, but I'm sure he's rolling back over to go right back. I'm sure he is, or trying to find something to occupy Crosley so we can go back

to sleep. Thank you very much. Austin Elmore joining us from ESPN fifteen thirty and occasionally on seven hundred WLW. Meanwhile, the counselor has just walked into the court room. Mike Allen, how are you doing. I'm good, I'm good. How you doing? Fantastic? So what's on the slate today? Well, I'll tell you what. For the rant, I'm gonna start where I left off last week, and that's the talking about the rampant

anti semotism in this country. Garritee's disgusting and I looked at it a lot this week because I didn't see it common and I still don't understand it. But it it to underestimate this problem. You do it at your own peril, or more accurately, this country's peril. It's awful and it is discussed well. Hamas just like, yeah, yeah, yes, their airfat was

Basically they're grifters. Yep, they're they're welfare pimps or whatever if you want to look at But they're even more dangerous and deadly, right, But they're just like Jesse Jackson and l Sharpton, Uh it were And I never thought about it like that, but it makes sense. But and you say, well, you can't blame the poor, the innocent Palestinians, Well, you know what, these people voted for a terrorist group to be their leader.

They they voted for Hamas. Elections have consequences, Dane. I don't think there's a dimes more of the difference between the two of them. I'm sorry, that's just how I feel about you. So you know, anytime I hear about Palestinian oppression, I turn my head and vomit. And then I go back about my business, because these especially these college kids, have no idea what, no idea of history, no idea what they're talking about.

It's just something that the Left has drummed up to be anti Semitic and anti Jewish. I have some shocking polling that I'm going to share with with my listeners about just exactly where numbers wise college students are on the subject. Who was on the program, if anyone. I have the man, the legend, the one and only J Kenneth Blackwell, He's coming in to talk about Issue one. Something tells me Ken's probably going to be against Issue one anyway.

I say that tongue in cheek. I know where he is on it. I love that guy. Looking forward to talking to him. Probably Yeah, we're gonna talk to him at ten. And then an up and comer, a guy by the name of Orlando Sanza, is running for Steve's chambit sold seat in the first congressional district. Let me tell you something, this is an impressive young man, he really is. So people want to hang

around for that. But every time I hear an Issue one ad that's pro Issue one and they're talking about Ohio's extreme or abortion van which doesn't exist. An abortion band does not exist in Ohio right now by law. I think what's more extreme than murdering babies? Ah, he'd be hard pressed. Maybe beheading them like a mask does. Oh No, you'd be hard pressed to find land parenthood Hamas there's two sides of the same coin. Mike Allen,

Saturday, midday after the show, show at Huddle's Cafe. They're on Mama Street in Newport. If you'd like to come by, we'd love to see you can enjoy some college football with us and maybe maybe chew the fat. And if there's no fat, well we'll find something to chew on seven hundred WLW Rocky Year for what he center Ford looking for a pre
