Happy Halloween! May your day be filled with candy, costumes, tricks, treats and scary movies (though Eden will not be watching any–horror movies are not her cup of tea).
Omg! Bonus episode! Let's learn a bit about dopamine.

Armed with spoons, bowls and mouths, 3 girls, 1 milk carton and 7 cereal boxes set out on a treacherous journey to discover the best kind of cereal. Will they complete the mission, or be defeated by indecision, apathy, and stomach aches? Only those who listen to this episode will find out.
Sometimes you just need to rant. In this episode, that means talking about the Presidential Debates, political polarization and other concerning current events. It's not the most uplifting one, so stay tuned for the end of the episode for a lovely news story.

Summer has come to a close and the school year has began, which means Garden of Eden will be back on every Saturday at 10 am! This year is going to be different, as school is online first semester so broadcasting is remote, but it's gonna be awesome.
Today Eden is joined with my friends, Kelly and Lili, to talk about a few discussion-provoking questions surrounding the current events happening in the United States. Here's what teachers think about coronavirus. A special shoutout to Joe Bryant, Larry Bencivengo, and Jen McLellan for starring in this episode.
This episode was created when Washington State was the epicenter of coronavirus (though now it is New York by FAR). But, Washington was still the first place where coronavirus appeared in the United States, so students here were among the first to be affected by the changes brought as a result of COVID-19. This episode was originally created as a Youtube video where you can see all of the teenager's faces, names and ages, so if you're interested in watching it that way, here's the link: https://...
Graphic design is everywhere--billboards, trash cans, books, magazines, soup cans--and now, it's on Garden of Eden too! Eden brought in a graphic designer very close to her (may or may not be her mom) to spill all of her knowledge.
The year is 2016. An 8 year old, two 12 year olds, a 14 year old, and one 43 year old with minimal outdoor preparedness skills set out with one goal in mind: summiting Mt. St. Helens. And it didn't quite go as planned. Two words: severe sunburn. If you take away one thing from this story, let it be: Always. Wear. Sunscreen.
This episode is no small matter...oh wait. If you're short, you'll probably relate to this one. And if you're one of the average height or tall folks of this world, you'll enjoy hearing a different perspective. Have you ever been mistaken as your best friend's child? Because Eden has.
To investigate the differences between public and private school, Eden left the 88.9 station and drove on over to a private school in Seattle to talk to her friend, Dylan, who is a student there. They discussed the similarities and differences between their school experiences. Here's what they learned.
Truisms in short, as redefined by artist Jenny Holzer, are controversial statements intended to spark dialogue. Eden and her friends Kelly and Kate discussed some of them, and man did it get interesting. To learn more about Jenny Holzer, visit: https://www.moma.org/collection/works/63755
It's easy to make New Year's resolutions...the hard part is keeping them. Let's see how well Eden does. Wish her luck!
Don't the words "middle school" alone make you cringe a little? Yikes, what a time. Who knew 3 years could feel like an eternity. This week, Eden, and her best friend Kate, reflect on middle school, what made it so gosh darn awful, and what they learned from it.
This is the moment you've all been waiting for...you just didn't know it yet. Eden has poured her creativity into inventing a state-of-the-art game show! She tested it with her friends Annika, Kelly and Kate this week. You don't want to miss this. Trust me, it's worth it.
Eden's friend Lili has roots in Argentina. Lili knows lots of cool things about the country, and has lots of fun stories from her visit there. On this episode of Garden of Eden, she shares them with the world.
Ah, names...we all have them. According to Eden's friend Kelly, she has some polarizing opinions about names, so they both decided to talk it out on this week's episode of Garden of Eden.
