The deer had become a local legend since he was often visible feeding in a bean field along a main highway. After a close call with him in the woods, the deer suddenly disappeared in October and Jason and others feared the worst had probably happened. After the season ended, Jason discovered the fate of this giant whitetail. With a Boone and Crockett score of 241, this is one shed hunt Jason will never forget.
