He has completed his graduation from the Delhi University after which he perused master’s in international business, Business Administration. Sharad head's Nippon Paint's global automotive aftermarket paint business and is the Director on Board of several Nippon Paint companies in Asia. He is the Founder of company's automotive refinish business in India, Indonesia, Australia and the Middle East and the wood coatings and light industrial paints business in India. Prior working with Nippon he worked with AkzoNobel Car Refinishes for 6 years. He is actively working towards the upliftment of the unorganised painters community through various initiatives.
