Charles Elson "Buddy" Roemer III is the kind of person you would hope would run for office: his morals were rock solid, he was incorruptible by financial or political gain, and he genuinely cared about the people he would represent. So, it would only make sense that in 1991 he would run against the two people who existed on the worst ends of the political spectrum.
