Derek McGrath: Mindset, Mental Prep and Standout Moments

Our guest for Season 3 Episode 8 of the GAA Minor Moments podcast with Electric Ireland is former Waterford player and manager, Derek McGrath.

The Waterford native speaks on mindset and the emphasis on mental preparation nowadays, touching on some recent championship games and moments that have stood out for him particularly from a tactical viewpoint and he talks about the evolution of hurling this century.

McGrath also takes a look back on his hurling career in Waterford playing across the minor, U20’s and senior panels.
