G.O. 010 - Discovering Canyons With Scott Merrill
Episode description
Scott Merrill is an eighth-grade math teacher and a recently engaged father of two. As rewarding as those things can be, he still felt an emptiness and calling for adventure he had difficulty heeding. After years of searching for an outlet for these pursuits, he found a pathway that led him to canyoneering. Now, he balances his family life, responsibilities, and canyon time in a way that has brought him a richer experience of life. Jason had a conversation with Scott and his dogs in his backyard in Lancaster, CA where they discussed the ways his life has improved in the last few years.
