Being the 'only' can be cool in the moment, yet is costly in the long run

There can be some fascination about being the 'only' - whether in terms of gender, race, age, skin tone, height, etc. However, as you reflect you realise that the picture is skew. The real work begins when we recognise how this 'only-ness' can also be used to cause harm and create separation.
