Ripped from the Headlines: Grants Gone Bad

Grants are not free money. As stewards of someone else's money, whether the tax payers, a family foundation, or corporation, we are always responsible for adhering to the funder's rules. That means we have to be above board in all things: truthful grant writing, documenting all our expenses, and accurately reporting the results of our project. Sadly, there are always stories in the news about individuals and organizations who bend and break the rules, and these are their stories.
