201 that's the episode number for this episode. It is Friday. We're releasing this on Friday, but we're recording it on September 12, 2024 Welcome to the show, funfactfriday, com, with Leila and, David, are we back to this? It's always been this. That's the gag. Welcome to Fun Fact Friday. We podcast where we discuss topics surrounding a different fact. No, we discuss facts surrounding a different topic. We discuss weeks, every day, every day, every topic.
Every time there's a day we're discussing topics, and it's, it's kind of fun, right? It's never on Fridays. We never do that. We try and release on Friday. Sometimes it don't work, yeah? So, uh, yeah, our Whoa, our episode topic for today is going to be pyramids and plates. Or what? Pyramids and plates. That's what's going on. So, uh, food pyramid doesn't exist. My Plate is in, yeah. My plates the new thing,
yeah. But before we go into telling you exactly what you should eat to be healthy, we got a little, really, we got a little, a little new segment. It's not going to be huge. It's basically just telling you, on the day we recorded this, what's been going on? What is the day? Oh, yeah, today is we'll say together, 123, world dolphin day. Dolphin day. You say national, Nope, just say national, yeah, we have had a
busy, busy week. I've been dealing with a bunch of computer stuff, trying to get infrastructure redone and then tighten everything up and get everything a lot more organized. And it is a task. DNS is a task, but I'm not going to go into that. Leila has already heard it today. Yeah, look up DNS. If you're not sure what I'm, what I'm, what I'm talking about, and who it's, the problem is always
DNS, yeah? But yeah, we're gonna, we're gonna try and talk about, like, what, what day is the is a national day, because every day is a national something, yeah? And today, I just want to be part of your symphony. You know, part of my symphony. I just want to be part of. I don't know what that's a song from one of those new one of those new bands. No, it's a meme I'll show you either, speaking of bands didn't Weezer just re released the blue album, or something they did, they would
have Remastered. It sounds the exact same, does it? Well, yeah, it probably sounds the exact same on like spotlight YouTube, yeah, and YouTube music. But I bet if you got a CD and you played that CD along with one of the old CDs, you'd probably be able to tell the difference. Or if you got a nice lossless flack
file, absolutely. But one thing we wanted to talk about, first of all, we wanted to thank John C Dvorak for coming on the show, yeah, for Episode 200 that was really fun, which we could have talked longer, but it was getting late, and we had had take care of some stuff, yeah, like sleeping. And the next thing we wanted to talk about is we're going to be moving to a little bit different of a format
for the show. We've realized that the 45 minute to an hour to an hour and 15 minute episodes are getting a little long, and they're taking just, they're just, it's we're taking too much time. So we're going to try really hard to tighten things up from here on out, keep it around 2530 minutes like we used to be, and that you'll hate it, maybe you
won't right. That should let us know that that should help us, that should help us regain a little bit of our time, and also maybe get some episodes in the can, because after an hour of recording, we're like, do we want to record another one? Record another one to get one of the can? It's like, no, it's uh, because then we have to do the art, because then we have to record another
episode, right? And that's a whole another hour, because we feel like we end up talking an hour every time, but I'm rambling, which is probably part of the problem, yeah? So then we're gonna, we're some some topics that will require more than 30 minutes to talk about we're gonna do part one, part two. We're just gonna we're gonna do that. So we're trying to respect your time and keep things tight and help us out a little bit with our ever expanding list of things that
are on our calendar. Yeah? So that that's just a little, a little announcement, yeah. So our topic today spawns from from us seeing a poster, a pyramid on a poster. Yeah, not an Egyptian pyramid. I wish it was a pyramid with colors would have on it. It was a pyramid. Yeah, that tells you, food. What? Now, what did? What did this poster say? Okay, oh my gosh. The ridiculous, this pyramid. So you got a picture of it, right? The government, the government's
telling us. The government decided at one point that it was in charge of telling us how much of what we're supposed to eat? I know it's extremely what nothing we'll talk about that later. Yeah, it's extremely rare for the government to try and tell people what to do and how to live their lives. We know how. So they've got to be right about this, right? So this pyramid has different sections, and two different sections are of different
thicknesses. Now, this isn't the original one that I remember growing up with, but we'll get into that later. This one, this, I think, is the one that I grew up with, right, right? The one back in the early 80s was different. Mike, off kilter. Here. There we go, feeling a little muddy. So this one has grains, how many cups veg vegetables? How many cups of just okay, fruits, milk and then meat and beans, meat and beans, meat and beans. Never
heard about meat and beans. So this says that you need to eat six ounces of grains every day. Okay? So then, then it says vegetables, and it says two and a half cups every day. That's a lot of cups. Yeah, vegetables. And then eat one and a half cups of fruits every day. And it says, Oh, I haven't said the little, little catch phrases. It says grains, make half of your grains whole, and then vary your veggies, and then focus on fruits. And then the next category is milk.
How much milk am I supposed to drink a day? Dad, it got a whole category. It says, Get three cups of milk. Every cups of milk the government is telling you to drink three cups of milk a day. These now, this, this you're gonna get arrested. Says it's, yeah, you're right. It's, it says for kids ages two to eight, it's two cups. So when you're younger, you don't have to drink, to drink as much. And then meat, as opposed to drink cow milk, that's right. It says, Go Lean. Oh, milk says, Get your
calcium rich foods. And it says meats and beans go lean with protein. Milk isn't a food. So we were getting a kick out of this poster talking about it and and then it has down at the bottom, which is not part of the pyramid, it says oils. Oils are not a food group, but you need some for good health. And we'll talk about that a little later too. But this spurred our interest, and we're like, that thing has changed a lot. That's our food group, from what I've learned. But they might just be
on the poster. On this poster, right? This poster is very definitely aimed at kids, got little cartoon characters dancing around, yeah, and all that stuff. And anyway, it got us interested in talking about the food pyramid, because it has a long and storied history and some controversy. So what did you find in your research? Leila, so what I grew up with is the My
Plate. Actually, I think, like, for the first couple of years of my elementary school, we learned the food pyramid, but then it switched to my plate, like, halfway through elementary school for me, so I haven't really grown up with the food pyramid, but the My Plate has this little circle, and it's split in like four sections, and the biggest sections are
vegetables and grains. So like, if I get a picture of it, okay, so, like, a little more than a fourth is vegetables, a little more than a fourth is grains, and then a little tiny portion is protein, and a little tiny portion is fruit, and then you got a cup of dairy. What is it with the dairy? Now I'm asking the same question. So I went to got milk.com So apparently, supposed to be drinking so much milk from nature to nurture. From nature to nurture because it's 50% more hydration than
water. I don't believe that. Where does it says? Because real milk is full of quality protein, carbohydrates and electrolyte. It hydrates you more than a glass of water. Um, maybe, I mean, the electrolytes do do something. So, yeah, the electrolytes do help. But I don't know, maybe, maybe, maybe, but, oh man, when I think of hydration, I think of like, Yeah, I think of like being Gatorade, like I'm hot and sweaty out here in the studio
because AC hasn't been on. And like, I'm like, Oh man, let me just drink a big old, tall glass of milk. I know when I. You know, and I'm, I got the the table, saw out, and I'm out there doing, doing hard work out in the sun, and just nothing. Nothing satisfies like big glass of milk. It's disgusting.
We have a bias against milk in this house a little bit, a little bit, yeah, oh, real quick, real quick, for legal reasons, nothing we say should be construed as dietary or nutritional advice, and nothing we say should be construed against the US government. Good clip. People are gonna clip that one. Good but yeah, milk, they are pushing milk. Yes, they are. Did you want to talk more
about it? Go for it. So on, got milk.com if you go to got milk.com/nutrition you can look at dairy, milk versus oat drinks, almond drinks, soy drinks and coconut drinks. They don't even call them milk at this point. They just call them drinks, kind of a low blow. Well, they're not milk. They're not, yeah, not really much. But okay, so this is, this, is this they're just going right after their competition. They are. They really are.
So I went to almond drinks because almond milk is my favorite type of milk substitute. And so it says that per eight ounce glass milk. Dairy Milk provides the protein you need for strong bones, and it says the almond milk has one gram of protein per eight ounce glass. So almond drinks contain 1/8 of the protein found in real milk, right? But if you're eating meat, right, you don't need to. You
don't need milk. If you, if you eat more protein than the MyPlate says you don't need the milk for the protein, for the protein, but since, since milk is paying anymore, we gotta get that protein on the plate. Talk about that in a few months. So it also says it's cheaper than almond milk. Because, of course, that is it's from it's very mass produced. It's not hard to make, right? And it's natural. Well, almost milk is natural too. It does it is what even is natural,
right? Yeah, that's true. I could go into that, but three ingredients in milk is milk vitamin A and vitamin D. So apparently they're adding vitamins to the milk. That's not just naturally occurring. No, I have seen, I have seen on before, it says added or extra vitamin D. Added vitamin D, which, how do they add it? Do they like grind
up exactly? Vitamin D doesn't sound very natural to me, the cows something, or, you know, natural is like you walk out onto a random cow that has been living out in nature forever, and you walk up to it and milk it, that would be natural. And then you don't pasteurize it, that would be natural. But also, I'm not saying I don't like pasteurization. I'm just I haven't looked too much into it. Go ahead.
Go ahead. Um, this also says that almond drinks are have up to 14 ingredients that's including Salt, Sugar stabilizers, emulsifiers, which it doesn't have to have those. No, we saw a tutorial the other day on how to make it was literally almonds and water. She added a little bit of, I think, probably sugar, vanilla extract, yeah, because she likes the flavor. Vanilla extract is natural. If you extract it naturally.
I like vanilla almond milk. I like the original more, though, just the original unsweetened. Yeah, I feel like you should get tastes too sweet. You should get the basic and then add flavor. If you, yeah, if you want to look that way, you know you're not stuck with it's like, it's like, when, when you make a cup of coffee, you don't want to buy pre made coffee. I don't want to buy the pre made caramel flavored. Yeah, I want to make regular coffee. Way too sweet, add a little bit of caramel.
Yeah, you know that whatever that flavor the little bottles with the pump on the top, but it basically does this for oat soy and coconut as well. Coconut milk is delicious, and I'm not slamming milk. I'm not a fan of milk. I put milk in my coffee or my cereal. Which cereal in like, a year, but I mean, either cereal is not all that great. We buy, we probably buy a gallon of organic milk once every two weeks. Lasts about two weeks. Yeah, you'll only use it for like, your
coffee and mac and cheese. So, right, right? And what? Yeah, and it's not even about the we buy the organic because A, it lasts longer and B, it tastes better to me. It doesn't it in the lasting longer is the main thing. Because, like I said, we don't, we don't drink that much milk. But, yeah, the milk thing comes from, or not comes from, there's, there's been some, some Criticism and controversy. Oh, about as is the heading on the Wikipedia. The USDA has come under criticism because they
say, folks say. That the USDA has let food industries such as big milk, oh yeah, I tagged got milk as big milk in the subtitle, yeah, that's the Got Milk website link in the show notes, the food industries such as milk companies have been accused of influencing the USDA. They wouldn't do that. They'd do that into making like Because apparently, the colored spot for milk on the My Plate was smaller, and they, the dairy industry came in and was like, hey, and this, this is
alleged. I don't know how, how researched this is. There's links in the Wikipedia to Wall Street Journal article that I can't read. It's, it's, it's firewalled and the pen, they've been putting pressure. They've been putting pressure on the USDA to be like dairy, it's what to eat. So I'm wondering, was like the My Plate? Is this supposed to be three meals a day, of fruits, grains, vegetables and protein?
Well, what it's trying to say is that's what your plate, your plate should look like, like every plate you have, like every meal, every meal should have each right? I don't. Let's see, my typical breakfast is like a breakfast burrito, some, some kind of breakfast meat, eggs on a tortilla. I usually eat just like leftovers, or, yeah, chicken nuggets, right? That's super, super breakfast
foods, all that much. But no, yeah, it's, I don't, I don't think that it's saying every I think it's just saying over the course of your day, that should be about the breakdown, yeah, because I've always heard that this is like lunch, especially since it's like lunch at school. Oh yeah, the rock poster, oh my gosh, at my old school, there was this photo of the rock and he had like a milk mustache, and it just said, Got milk. And he was taunting me every day to
drink my milk. It was scary. It was just this huge poster of him. So the My Plate breaks down to I just said the the amounts that you should eat of each thing. And it actually on the Wikipedia, if you go to the MyPlate breakdown, it kind of gives you what that might look like, and it says three to five ounces of protein. And like, that doesn't seem like a lot, because three ounces of like steak, for example, is about the size of a deck of cards, and that's why you're supposed to
eat for per a day. That seems I don't know that seems low to me for protein, but I also know that I overeat because I love the way food tastes. I feel like you're supposed to have more protein than that. Maybe, maybe we should. We should, like, I should try this for a week. I should like, measure out. Um, wait, this is, this is just for kids, because it says two year olds, three year olds, four and five year olds. You're not a four and five, four or five year old is my plate just for the kids?
Probably what, no way. Nutrition is for kids. That's for the youngins. So there is also out there a vegetarian diet pyramid is what it's called, and it pretty much has like 12 servings of whole grains, well, one to three servings of legumes and soy legumes. Legume that's amazing. A peanut is neither a pea nor a nut, it's a legume. Extra points for anybody who gets that
reference. Six to nine servings of vegetables, three to four servings of fruits, one to two servings of nuts and seeds, zero to two servings of vegetable oils, zero to one serving of egg, zero to two servings of dairy. And then sweets. At the top, it just has, like a little tiny piece that says sweets. And wait, I love that. I need my little serving of sweets a day. Um, now at the bottom here, uh huh, it says you're supposed to drink eight, eight ounce glasses of water a day. Yeah, that's
not so bad. It's only 64 ounces. Wait, no, is that right? Eight times eight? Yeah, 64 ounces. I thought I doubted my own maths. Hold on, okay, what? Hold on. Hold on, yeah. Are you going for 64 or is it something? For gallons, half a gallon, it is half a gallon. So, not so bad. But, yeah, water seems like a lot. Well, okay, so it there's so much water in food, yeah, so, so I don't drink as much as I think I do. I
I feel. Like, if you always drink something when you're thirsty, unless you realize that you're drinking like almost nothing every day, I feel like your body tells you when you need water. Yeah, and people that are like, forcing themselves to drink 64 or a gallon of water, I feel like that that's maybe not great. Yeah. Believe it or not, your body will tell you what it needs, yeah, yeah, the vegetarian food pyramid, I like how at the bottom of this one, it's not
just about the food. It says other lifestyle recommendations, daily exercise and sunlight, 10 minutes a day to activate vitamin D. It has a water thing, but yeah, and the the sunlight thing is important. I think the sunlight should be in all the food pyramids. It should be like, give you some sun. Go touch grass. And I know that that's become like an insult now, yeah, go touch grass. But you should, you should go touch the planet. Get get back and let your body know. Yeah, we're
still here. We're still on Earth. Nature is so cool. So I realized, I realized at one point in my life, it had been like months since I had touched anything natural and living like, I mean, like grass or a tree or, you know, anything out in nature. And I was like, wow. It's because I used to be out in the woods all the time when I was a kid, but I was like, I need to, I need to get out there and do something. Touch dirt,
touch the ground. You know, they, and there's people that advocate for that as a healthy thing, go out and ground yourself. But um, and, yeah, who knows if that's, there's anything to that? Maybe I'll look into that see, what if there's any actual benefit to touching the the earth directly? Okay, so we've gone through got milk. We've gone through the the controversy. Oh, the the different food pyramids. Let's
see. Originally, it started in 1972 in Sweden, the Joseph food bread by uh, oh, yeah, sorry, 1978 by Joseph food pyramid, yeah, when he had a little toy Pyramid of Giza and he dropped a bowl of cereal and some broccoli on it. And he was like, oh, pyramid, no. Is 1972 in the Sweden National Board of Health and Welfare were like, hey, you know these basic foods. Oh,
this. This was during the high food prices at the time, like the food prices were through the roof at the time in Sweden, and they were like, We need these basic foods and supplemental foods. We gotta break everything down. And they called it the basic seven, and it's just a circle with a fun looking, bless you, fun looking little Swedish family with a mom and a dad and a little boy and a little girl, and it says, Eat this way every day, and it has seven pie pieces
around them. And it says yellow, leafy greens and vegetables, citrus fruits, tomatoes, raw cabbage, potatoes and other vegetables and fruits, milk, cream cheese. Yeah, see, they're saying children need three to four cups of milk, and adults two cups of milk. Why is everybody so obsessed with drinking milk? So much milk, waters and milk? Yeah? Meats,
eggs, poultry. Sorry. Meats, eggs, poultry, fish eggs, oh, so x twice, dried beans, all that stuff, and then grains, and then butter and fortified margarine. Margarine is like plastic, but yeah, with the food prices and everything. And then at the bottom, it says, in addition to the basic seven, eat any other foods you want. I love it. And it has always food thing. I like that. Oh, wait, this isn't Sweden. This is from the US Department of Agriculture. So it's not a Swedish family, it's
an American family. That's the basic stars around it. I I got my stuff mixed up. What are you but yeah, so I guess that was the the first one was like a circle. But so the food circle, it's the food circle. This basic seven eat any other foods you want. I guess you call it the circle of life. So then the RIP James Earl Jones the circle talking about eat
whatever else you want. It was saying, These are the things you need to eat, because, you know, you need at least this much protein, and at least this much and that's one of the other criticisms that the food pyramid had. And the MyPlate has, is that some of the categories, you need a minimum of this many vegetables, but really you shouldn't, shouldn't eat more than this much meat, is what they're. Suggestions say they're like, You need to make it
consistent. Either be like, this is the recommended amount you should eat and no more, or be like, these are all the minimums you need to eat, or these are all the maximums you need to eat. They need to be consistent with it, because you're like, eat at least this many vegetables and put no more meat than this. That's the crazy part. And, um, and they've taken out of the pyramid that we saw on the poster. The fats and oils were not out there. But those
were all. Those were on most of the other ones, because fats and oils are important. They are you're gonna have that, yeah, look like a prune. Well, uh, les Stroud on the show survivor man was talking about, if you don't eat enough fat, you can die. Yeah. So, like, if you're out in the wilderness and all there is, is these super lean jackrabbits running around, and you use them for food, you'll you won't survive, because it's just all protein.
There's, like, there's no fats, and your body does need fats, especially for your brain. There's a link in the show notes about cholesterol and how your brain actually really needs cholesterol, and not having enough can lead to brain problems. The right kinds of cholesterol, of course, there's multiple kinds, but I like my food pyramid with all most of its meat, a little bit of carbs, like tortillas to wrap the meat in, and then you got to have your fats and oils to cook the
meat in. And then some, some veggies are really good. Yeah, I like broccoli and and carrots. Those are pretty good. So that's, that's my food pyramid. My food pyramid probably be, uh, let me, let me look at chicken nuggets. Absolutely, that's all I need. We have been getting done a little bit the better ones. Okay, so I probably like, huh, sour dough bread, because I'm fancy. Like that, all right, um, I like bell peppers for my vegetables. I also got, like broccoli, broccoli, bell
peppers. I like onions a little bit. Yeah, when broccoli is cooked right, onions are good. Oh, yeah, corn and then fruits. I like grapes like a lot. I really like grapes. Oh, we got some really good grapes. My goodness, perfect. I bit into one, and it crunch like perfectly. And I was like, Oh my gosh. And two are the best grape ever. And some fell on the ground. And since, you know, you don't want to eat them and wash them off whatever, I was like, oh, throw in the microwave.
Because if you take two grapes and put them in the microwave, kids don't try this at home without adult supervision. You take two grapes and you put them in the microwave to where they're touching each other and put it on, you know, 30 seconds or whatever, and watch what happens. We're not spoiling it. It's pretty cool, though, not spoiling it, but watch what happens. And again, kids don't try this at home, yeah, without a parent's supervision, it's very interesting.
And then, oh my meat. Oh sorry, fish and egg and alternatives. Why would you look at my screen? You have a screen in front of you. I don't have that specific page up. I like chicken. Chicken's my favorite meat, probably chicken and pork, both really good. Milk and alternatives. I like cheese. I like almond milk. I like milk. I like ice cream. You like them? They just don't like you. Yeah. Fat and oil and sugar, yeah, yeah. So you like the you like
the food. I like the food. So the one we're looking at is the one on, chp.gov.hk, I'm kind of forced to follow it, because I go to public schools, you know. Well, yeah, well, I mean for that one meal, yeah? So, like, I would put on the the ones that's grains on the bottom, that's a huge part of the pyramid. That would be meat and then vegetables and fruit. I'm not a big fan of fruit, but I understand it does have some what you don't like fruit, not
really. I mean, I'm okay. I like apples and grapes and watermelon. Okay, that's and I like using lemons and limes to like season things. Okay, so you like fruit, you just don't like fruit, yeah, just, it's not my first choice, yeah, but yeah the bottom, the biggest part would be meat, and then veggies and probably fat soils and sugars right above that, and then we put the fruit and the the milk above that, and the
milks at the top. I feel like I'm fine with this, but like, put meat to the bottom, and then move milk up with the fat, oil and sugar, and then move grains toward the milk is Yeah, grains should be in the middle, towards the top. Less grains. You don't need it that much. Yeah, you do need grains, but you don't need, like, as much grains as everything else combined. It's a lot. It's a lot of carbs. Swap the grains and the protein and then move milk up to that oil and sugar. There
you go, and salt. And that's it. That's the perfect pyramid. That's the That's the funfactfriday com, Friday nutrition pyramid. So we're, uh, we're getting close. That 30 minute mark. So we're gonna go ahead and do our value for value segment. This is a value for value podcast, which means that we put the show out for free, and we hope you enjoy it. All of our new listeners have come in. May not have heard this before anywhere. This is this is how we do it. We're never gonna charge you for
anything. We're never gonna have an ad on the show. And if you appreciate the show, if you get excited when a new episode comes out, that means it's worth something to you. Yeah, and sometimes we get a row of ducks, and sometimes we get a row of ducks, which we're talking about, and it's like some three vampire fire. But since we, like I said, since we do have new listeners, I'm kind of explaining the value for value thing. And it doesn't just mean monetary support, it can also
mean send us an email. We love getting emails and or a letter. A letter, you can go to funfactfriday com and click donate, and we have our PL box there. Send us a sticker, yeah, from something you enjoy. Or we had a guy postcard, yeah, send us postcards for Yep, postcards
are fantastic. He's doing now, I don't know, but we we appreciate everything that we get from people, and that also comes in the the form of time, just telling somebody about the show that's time, yeah, or like dreb Scott helps us out with our chapters and transcripts. We appreciate that. And this week, we got some support. We got our monthly PayPal sustaining donations. Those are fantastic.
You can go to paypal and set up a recurring payments, or you can actually go to your bank website and set up a monthly payment that way, and they will just send us a paper check, and that won't cost you anything, because the bank mails it directly to us for free. And there's no payment processor taking any of the money out out of it so that we get the full amount. Looks like PayPal eats it up. So we got Steven Grimes for $10 yeah. And we got dreb Scott from 1912 No. That means Oreos.
Oreos, we need to get, like an Oreo button, of us just saying Oreo, right, like every single time he donates Oreo, and then, yeah, those, those are our monthly sustainers. Those are awesome because they help us pay for our hosting costs. But hosting a podcast does cost money the website and the infrastructure and all that stuff so and then we received some value for value in the form of Bitcoin boosts,
yeah, Satoshis. If you're using a modern podcast app that supports the feature like fountain.fm you can go in and send us a little tiny bits of Bitcoin that you can actually go ahead, have a modern podcast app. Go to what is it called? Podcast apps.com Yeah, podcasts.com or new podcast apps.com either way, and look for one that has value for value in there, or value tag the ones. I mean, yeah, all this is that you want.
If you get value out of the show, and we can't tell you how much that value is worth, because we don't know what the show is worth to you. It might be worth 1000 bucks. You might be a multi billionaire, and you're like, I'm gonna give, I'm gonna give funfactfriday com $100,000 or you might just be like, You know what? I like the show, and I'm gonna give them. I'm gonna give them 10 cents an
episode. So like, every, you know, 10 episodes or so, you send us $1 or wait, wait for 20 episodes and send us $2 that way, the fees. Don't eat it all up. But you get the idea. Yeah, we get the idea. But we definitely appreciate all the support we get and all the emails gotten some pictures from some folks who got our hot sauce. You can go order that by the case at hot sauce, dot
funfactfriday com. You can go to merch or store dot funfactfriday com and pick up some other merch that we have, but the Satoshi donations. Do you want to read them? Sure. Alrighty. So we got 2222 SATs from Bully speed. That's a row of ducks. Row of ducks is it's a row of ducks because the twos look like a bunch of ducks in a row. Yeah. Fediverse donation, congrats. Congratulation on Episode 200 another wonderful listen with Jace JCD. I have opinions about starters, rye and sourdough. I'm
a baker. My starter is named bread Nugent. Nice, because Ted Nugent, oh, he's a musician. My favorite bread to bake is rye we'll share later. That's awesome. I want to make some rye bread. I feel like that'd be kind of easier to start. Gotta, just gotta get a starter going. Yeah, I gotta, I gotta get, um, gotta get some rye flour. Right, right, right. Yeah, you're right. They put like, emojis with certain, no, yeah, I get that, but I don't understand why it's I don't understand vampires, vampire fire. I don't know it's really funny. Um, congrats on Episode 200 and then they put the little Yahoo party emojis. Yeah, that's

Like, I've moved the rodecaster a little bit, and it's not directly in my peripheral. It's like, right in my blind spot, the record button. And normally I can see the red light, and I didn't see it for a second, and my brain was like, Oh no. We were just giving up after that. We were done tomorrow, right? Well, a happy dolphin Day.
