Hey, yo. Hey everybody.
Happy Friday.
Friday.
Yeah,
fun Friday back. Fun.
Fact Friday, Fun Fact Friday.
Yep. Two facts. We'll back to theories after after the intro, the intro to Fun Fact Friday, a weekly podcast where we discuss different topics and tell you some fun facts about them. With me with Leila and David, know what the show was called? I just said with Leila and David, I didn't specify who is Oh. So, okay, this week. Good. This week has been crazy for us. And we are taking a week off. Yeah, we're gonna we're gonna have a super short show this week. And then we may or
may not release an episode next week. We are at Toledo spring break. And we're kind of unplugging a bit. And we're gonna we're gonna just take a week, and we're gonna have possibly no show next week, we might do a show. Who knows, you know, we're not big fans of like, se
knows, you know,
who knows? Nobody knows. But yeah, we got some stuff planned for ourselves. And we're going to just, we're gonna take a week for the family and we're gonna, we're gonna log off of everything and, and just be just hanging out is pretty cool. So, we do want to thank our supporters especially we've had some folks come in with boosts. This is a value for value

14,000 SATs 14,000
That's like 10 bucks give or take. Yeah, that's a lot. Yeah. We're pretty excited about it. We are and Leila I'll let you lead. Read the policy. Okay.
It says Fun Fact Friday birthday boost. I did not know about this plastic tabs and colors related to sell date. You can also repurpose tabs for flip flop blowout repairs. So much poised for a 14 year old. Thank you. That's
Yep, Leila's birthday was Monday this past Monday and we had a good time. What did we do? I forgot. I wouldn't make something right. We went and ate Yeah, you got okay. Tell them tell them your your lunch. What What was your huge choice for lunch? Hey,
dad was like pick somewhere to go for lunch. I do not care what you want. And I was like, Harris Teeter sushi. She likes grocery store sushi. That's my favorite sushi. She could have gone to a very fancy sushi place because he has my hair food and I feel that and Mexican food. But Harris Teeter sushi. I don't know. There's just something different about it. It's
different. It does the kids totally go out and get some No, but we were just we were we were over there getting guests. But yeah, we had a good time and then I can't really what we did for dinner. We did something good for dinner too. Oh, Mexican food, right. Good food. Yep. We got some Mexican food. She got some severe chick,
my gosh. As soon as we got there, he was like it's her birthday.
We had dope. She had we didn't we got our drinks yet.
Like our waitress came over and was like it's her birthday, by the way. And I was like I just stared at the waitress. Oh, it's like, Oh, she got the big sombrero and they didn't notice they're being helped sombrero until it was like on my head
and he got a free dessert. Flon. Anyway, moving on to our next moves. Thank you, Billy steed for that we do definitely appreciate that. I appreciate it. And then we have 1776 sets from just listening freedom boost. says those clips of yourself saying your catchphrases had my wife laughing until she was red in the face. Turn it up. Yeah, you're right. Yeah, you're right.
Yeah, you're right. Yeah, you're
right.
It makes me mad me. Why
does it make you mad?
Because Parker keeps saying yeah, you're right. And it makes me mad. Because I'm like,
Oh, man. I still say we need to come up with like a, a graphic of a mineral that doesn't exist. Yeah, you're right. It's orange and blue. Right. orange and blue mineral
shade like a hexagon.
Get AI to make something for us. Yeah. Not an artist psyche, right. Unless some one of our wonderful producers wants to come up with something for us. That would be amazing. But yeah, we did want to pop in and just Let's do like one or two little facts. Real quick. Leila has a really, really cool one. So I will let her talk about that.
So there's an opera house on the US Canada border. And it's like half and half, like half is it? Half of it? In Canada? Half of it's in the US. I cut out Oh, did it wrong? You did it wrong. So it was in like, it's in Vermont, and Quebec. And there's an entrance in Vermont and an interest in Quebec. So half of the stadium could be Canadian, and half of this stadium can be American.
And you can have actors on stage in America. Yeah. And audiences in Canada. Yeah, right.
I didn't have time to flip it to the other page, right.
The row cache only has so many buttons that you can access at one time. So yeah, that's, we thought that was really cool fact. And I'd never heard of that. Yeah, me neither. And that's weird that, like, I go digging for stuff, you know, well, what were you gonna say? What's the cooler one?
The one you're about to say? Oh, yeah.
So there's this thing that exists that I didn't know exist? And
that's the that's the end of the fact. Yeah.
There's a sport. See, the silence can be fun. We're talking about that. Yeah. There's a sport called Extreme ironing. So basically, they take their ironing board and iron and some way to power the iron like a regenerator or something.
I think ironing is extreme enough.
It is you got heat. You got heat. You got metal, you got metal, you've got starch, you got starch, starch and earning No. Oh, I need to teach you the wonders
of starch. You're an ironing master.
I am I am so good at ironing. When when I worked at the restaurant, we had to have our sleeves. Our shirts like ironed perfect every day. And like the sleeves had to have the creases on them. And I got really good. Really good earning.
I have a special ironing towel. I only use for ironing.
And we shouldn't want to burn the fabric. They don't want
it. Yeah, because a lot of the fabrics I use are delicate. I didn't like the cotton cotton's. Fine, I just throw that stuff on the right.
But yeah, the so basically these these people that participate in extreme ironing, they take their ironing boards to an extreme location like the top of the mountain, or in a river skydiving in a canoe under the ocean. So the is it combines the thrill of an extreme sport with the satisfaction of a well pressed shirt. Absolutely.
My two favorite things so
I'll put a link to a little one minute video on YouTube of the extreme ironing around the world where a guy kind of explains a little better. Yeah, but But yeah, I think that's that's gonna be it for this episode. We will see y'all in one or two weeks. We're not sure. We were kind of just playing it by ear. And we'll we'll let y'all know when when we're coming back and we hope everybody has a fantastic Easter. Easter is coming up in a couple of
days. Happy Easter.
Happy Easter. And we will see y'all on the next one. Bye.
Whoa. I didn't get hummus. Goodbye. Bye. Bye. I mean, let me come on.
Okay, you gotta I gotta
