Mitra has written for such shows as Big Mouth, Miracle Workers, High Maintenance, and The President Show. As a performer she's acted in many shows including Big Mouth, Search Party, and Broad City.

She's one of the co-creators and stars of Three Busy Debras.

Mitra is also the cohost of the popular Urgent Care podcast.
