Today we are excited to share our first vocation story episode! Bishop Vincke sat down with Msgr. James Hake, who has been a priest in our diocese for 60 years! He shares about his life growing up and how he entered seminary and became a priest. Msgr. Hake said that he never had a doubt and that his life as a priest has been such a blessing. We think you will love listening to his story and how he served the diocese over those 60 years. We are so blessed to have him as a priest in our diocese!

Msgr. Hake was ordained May 29, 1960, by Bishop Frederick Freking at St. Boniface Church in Tipton.
