Episode description

"From the Frontlines" is an ADL podcast. It is hosted by ADL New York/New Jersey Director Scott Richman and focuses on ADL's efforts to fight antisemitism and all forms of hate in the United States and around the world. In this battle, online games have unfortunately become a breeding ground. ADL’s annual report on experiences in online multiplayer games shows that the spread of hate, harassment, and extremism in these digital spaces continues to grow unchecked. This is a problem as over 215 million people of all ages play video games as part of this $203 billion industry. Daniel Kelley joined the show to unpack the details of this year’s report which he authored. He is ADL’s Director of Strategy and Operations for ADL’s Center for Technology and Society. This podcast originally aired as a radio show on December 20, 2022 on WVOX 1460 AM.
