Episode description

Jesus lays out for us the great commandment: To love God with everything we have and to love our neighbor as our self.

But what does it mean to love our self? When is our self-love selfish and when is it spiritual?

Some key insights are provided into cultivating proper self-love and, using the example of Pope St. Pius X and some of his reforms, we can see how the Eucharist strengthens and informs this love. Take a listen.

August 21 is the Memorial Feast of Pope St. Pius X.
