Episode description

As promised, due to the COVID-19 epidemic, we have begun sharing our daily Mass preaching from our House of Studies in St. Louis, MO. This morning Rev. Brother and Deacon Christopher Johnson preached. For the daily readings to accompany these preachings see the USCCB.

We are reminded today of the need for trust in God. In the first reading, the prophet Hosea cries out to Israel to trust in God and not to trust Assyria, or alliances, or strength of arms. In the midst of our own worries and anxieties, do we trust God to care for us and to love us? Do we cherish that relationship with Him?

Br. Chris holds up St. John Nepomuck, the patron saint of Confessors and whose optional memorial is today, as a model of trust in God. Listen in and find out why.
