Childlike Spontaneity: Why is it irritating?

Some FC2.0 episodes pursue legit questions and come up with helpful insights. Not this one. We named (and demonstrated) how frustrating it can be to live in the swirling orbit of children who have not yet acquired adult filters of decorum, propriety, and restful quiet. As we explored our own fickle responses to kids – sometimes we're swept up in their delight…as with parades – we failed to mount a justifiable defense for when we behave like curmudgeons.  And the cows in Zanesville, IN, were not helpful.
