Hey guys! Salut à tous! Welcome back to the French Made Easy podcast! This is episode number 39, numéro 39!

In this episode, you'll learn some new vocabulary, and more precisely, the names of 30 countries, 30 pays.

Before we start, make sure you download your lesson's cheat sheet. It's free.

At the end of this episode, head over to the French Made Easy Library to download your lesson's exercises; it's free too.

Alright, you ready? Vous êtes prêts? On y va.

So! This list of countries might seem a little random to you, simply because it's not in geographical nor alphabetical order.

In fact, because I'm making this lesson for you, my listeners, I wanted to cover the countries where you’re listening from, which apparently is over 180 countries, which is kind of crazy when you think about it. Today we’ll cover 30 countries only; otherwise, the lesson might last for an hour! But I'll have more lessons with more countries coming out soon.

In this episode, I want you to pay attention to the countries' names (obviously), but also the definite articles. Because countries have a gender in French. They can be feminine, masculine, or plural. So please pay attention when I say, "le", "la", "les" and try to remember the gender because, well, you need to know it. And a very few countries don't have an article, which you also need to remember, but I'll let you know when that's the case.

Ok, now we can get started.

Please repeat after me. Répétez après moi.
