This past Sunday Bro. Justin Carter chose to highlight 2 Peter 2:`1-9. The passage outlines the contrasting outcomes for the righteous and the unrighteous. He talked about how important it is to do what the Word says and follow God rather than your flesh. Despite the disciples spending all that time with Jesus they still did not believe that he was the son of God. They heard the truth but completely mishandled it by acting according to the truth of man. Brother Carter said if you turn toward righteousness, our God will always rescue you... The Lord knows how to rescue the godly from trials and to hold the unrighteous for punishment on the day of judgment. Selah
