RIGHTHEOUSNESS FULFILLED

Pastor Jeff began our study of the book of Matthew this past Sunday. His focus scripture passage was Matthew 3:15. He emphasized that as followers of Christ we have a mandate from God to walk in obedience. John the Baptist and Joseph, two of the main characters in the first three chapters of this gospel, exemplified how important it is to "do what God tells you to do." In order to walk in that truth, you must take an honest assessment of whether you believe God is who he says he is. Despite Joseph decision to divorce Mary, he quickly changed his mind and decided to do exactly as the angel of God had instructed him. His obedience resulted in blessings! Matthew 1:24 When Joseph woke up, he did what the angel of the Lord had command him and took Mary home as his wife. Selah
