KINDNESS FOR THE KINGDOM

Pastor Jeff used the story of Zacchaeus as an example of the immediate transformation that occurs when you have an undisputable encounter with Jesus Christ. You simply cannot stay the same once you surrender to Him. This transformation often begins with a simple act of kindness. Not the kindness of just doing something nice for someone, but an intentional act that is rooted in love. Or do you show contempt for the riches of his kindness, forbearance, and patience, not realizing that God’s kindness is intended to lead you to repentance?” Romans 2:4 Zacchaeus immediately became repentant and changed from being a greedy man to a generous man. Our aim should be to display that type of kindness to those who have not accepted Christ and thus advance the kingdom of God. Selah
