HIDDEN WITH CHRIST

Pastor Jeff continued the study of the book of Colossians this Sunday. He emphasized Colossians 3:3 For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God. In the very beginning of the message, Pastor Jeff reminded us that Christians must eat "spiritual vegetables" often to grow stronger. The entire book of Colossians is foundational Christian values that are difficult to put in practice on a daily basis OR "spiritual vegetables." But, they are a necessity for us on this Christian journey. To be hidden in Christ is to imitate or desire to be like him. Three essentials for this quest is for us to identify our vision, values and victories in Him. The focus is on Christ because he is the very root of our vision. Is it possible that our struggle is because we have our eyes on the wrong thing or things? Selah Hebrews 12:2 fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of our faith.
