Gruesome Yet Glorious

As we celebrated Palm Sunday by holding service outdoors, Pastor Jeff preached about the days prior to Jesus' crucifixion as outlined in Mark Chapter 15. He emphasized that while we saw his death as tragic and horrendous, he saw it as necessary and sacrificial. It was God's love and Jesus remaining obedient, even to death, that purchased our salvation. During this Easter season we must reflect upon our own lives and determine if we are willing to sacrifice our life in service to Him. Jesus said in John 10:17,18 ...I lay down my life only to take it up again. No one takes it from me but I lay it down of my own accord. Selah
