For Granted or Grace

In John chapter 9, Jesus and his disciples cross paths with a man born blind. The world said his blindness was because of his sin. Jesus said, "this happened so that the works of God might be displayed in him." It took one encounter with Jesus for this once blind man to see. On Sunday, Pastor Jeff brought a powerful word examining the heart and humility of the blind man. He challenged us not to take life for granted, but to take life for grace. The blind man was only able to experience the presence and the power of Jesus once he dealt with Jesus, dealt with himself, and then dealt with others.
