DON'T HIDE FROM GOD ... RIDE WITH GOD

Pastor Jeff blessed us with another profound word on this past Sunday. He used the story of Adam and Eve in the garden as a reference to inappropriate behavior when we fall into sin. Most of us, just like Adam and Eve, attempt to hide from God. Proverbs 28:13 reminds us, "Whoever conceals their sins does not prosper, but the one who confesses and renounces them finds mercy." We are admonished to reflect on how we have transgressed God and remember the provisions He has made to restore us to holiness and right standing with Him. The answer is always honest, transparent responses to God's questions for us. Besides, ALL of God's questions are rhetorical. He already knows our shortcomings, yet still loves us with an everlasting love.
