Episode description

Paul Bloom (@paulbloomatyale) is Professor of Psychology at the University of Toronto, and Professor Emeritus of Psychology at Yale University. Paul is a big name in the Psychological space, being widely known for his research and writing. Paul’s research has focussed on moral and cognitive psychology, with focusses on how people make sense of the world. Today, Paul and I will be discussing his latest book: ‘’the sweet spot’’ - The pleasures of suffering, and the search for meaning. Which will explore the idea of why suffering may be crucial in living a meaningful and happy life. Before we start today’s episode, on a personal note - I just want to say that after a 3 month break from the podcasting space - it feels so good to be back.
