Each year we would watch Charlton Heston kill an Egyptian, rescue Midianite damsels, confront the Pharaoh with amazing miracles and the lead the Hebrews out of slavery in Egypt and through the Red Sea. Is the whole thing fiction? Did the exodus even happen? Premier biblical scholar, Richard Elliot Friedman makes the case for the exodus as an event in history.
