Episode description

The cat is the most common pet in the world. They have been written about throughout history, but not until ancient Egypt were they domesticated and even revered. The Egyptians said they were given to them by the gods for protection even into the afterlife, gods, which also had feline characteristics.

Joel delves into the idea of the origins of the domesticated cat, the cat gods of Egypt, and the lion-men who were said to roam the ancient world. He then explores the characteristics of the domesticated cat and its ability to see into the astral realm, as well as what it could mean for us as humans when they traverse inter-dimensionally.
