Yeah, I realized how serious these family secrets were that we're coming out, and so I started also feeling a responsibility to warn people there are unexpected surprises. If you are not the kind of person who is ready to accept that your family is of quite what you thought, then you shouldn't be testing the unintended consequences of technology, particularly the Internet and social media. We're only now beginning

to see what they are. I'm Brad Stone and I'm Pa Gadkari, and starting next week we'll be back with season three of Decrypted. We're dedicating the entire season to exploring the unintended consequences of technology and all the surprising places they're starting to show up. Most women are killed by someone close to them. Once we know who they are, we know who's close to them. If they're victims of homicide,

Identifying them could definitely lead to arrest. So we could monitor those cows walking around to order naked seven a day. If we asked a group of humans to spend seven walking around naked, I think we the people trying to lock us up and arrest us. The hoaxers were getting away with lying to so many people, so it was satisfying to me too, said things straight. The next season

starts September four. You can subscribe now. Decrypted A is available on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and all your favorite podcast apps. We'll see you soon.
