Tune in to our episode as my big brother Hoopstate Ray (@hoopstate_ray) He didn’t have to do us like that!!! Dropped gems on it all economics, non profits, the black dollar, black love annnddddd colorism alllllll in one take before Instagram started messing up.. Ray was raised in Queens, NY, Ray Fell in love with basketball at 10 years old and chased hoop dreams until his freshman year in college. After he realized he didn't want to play pro-basketball, he decided to transfer to Johnson C. Smith University, fell in love with NC and been there ever since. He has a BS in Comp. Sci., went back and to get an MBA 5 years later. He is a project manager and when Outside of work, he found basketball as a scout - did that for a few years and then recently joined the Hoop State Network.
