God is the origin and source of wisdom and affectionate reverence opens the valve allowing wisdom to flow into our lives. However, the “fear of the Lord”—affectionate reverence—is only the beginning…because wisdom must be implemented to be activated. Remember wisdom by itself is unwise. You only enjoy wisdoms benefits and blessings when you apply it to your everyday life situations. Wisdom will not be attained or experienced by only knowing the wise to do; one must do it!
