Living The Humble Life

Throughout the Bible, Old Testament and New Testament, it was firmly held that the Heart or the affections are the starting point and motivation of all of our decisions and actions. We as modern, refined, intelligent adults may pride ourselves on our ability to think critically and use logic and rationalism to make informed decisions throughout our daily lives. But the Bible says that it is really the heart, our passions, desires and affections that determine all we think say and do.
