Getting Your Bible Bearings

Today we begin a new series. I'm really excited about it because I've never done anything quite like it. As you know, usually I teach out of the Bible...but in this series I'm going to be teaching about the Bible.

I'm calling this series: From Garden to Glory-An Overview of the Bible. This is going to be a macro-look at our entire Bible...Big picture, structure, major segments and major themes, geography, language and people groups featured in it. I am praying this series will deepen your understanding and heighten your affection for the Bible.

My hope is that by the end of our time each of you will be familiar with all the major: Men and women, major events and major points of geography. And each of you will be able to put those people and events in proper chronological order and be familiar with the geography where it all happened.
