Warfare

The Word says in Psalms 88 and 2, Let my prayer come before thee. Incline thine ear unto my cry. Welcome to Focus Prayer with G. Craig Lewis. Y'all ready to pray? Okay, well, let's go ahead. Father God, in Jesus' name, God, we recognize your power right now. We recognize how powerful you are. You're our only hope. You're our only chance for survival. God, you are everything to us. And so we put you in your place as being all powerful, but you're not too big.

to not love us and hear us and do things for us, protect us and guide us. So Father God, we put you in your place as powerful and we recognize your power. right now god we are in awe at who you are who you've been down through history since the beginning god you just completely showed out during creation and you just did marvelous feats in creating us and making us complex organisms that man has not even figured all the way out God you are powerful so we thank you for your power

We thank you, God, for being great. We thank you for being great and mighty. Ephesians 3 and 20 says, Now unto him that is able. to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think according to the power that worketh in us. So because we have your power, God, we wait on you to do. exceeding abundantly above all we can ask or think. God, things that we need, things that we desire, things that you know we need. God, we put it all in your hands right now. Great God, great end.

Powerful God. And we come before you with thanksgiving Lord. Thanking you for everything you've done. Thank you, Lord, for giving us this mindset. In the end, where many are falling away from the faith, we will not give up on you. We thank you, Lord. Thank you because of all you've done. Thank you for what you're gonna do. Thank you, Lord, for being there when we didn't even deserve it. We thank you, Lord, for loving us when we didn't know what love was. We didn't know how to love.

We didn't know how to even love you, but God, you loved us anyway, so we are thankful for it. In Jesus' name, we pray this prayer of thanksgiving. Unto the most high God. We give you thanks. Psalms 104 says. Enter into his gates. With thanksgiving. And into his courts. with praise and be thankful unto him. So God, we are thankful and we bless your name right now. Thank you Lord for all that you've done.

We don't want a day to go by that we don't thank you. When we wake up in the morning, we want to thank you. Before we go to bed, we want to thank you. God, it is you that deserve our thanks, our praise, our thanksgiving. And God, we ask for forgiveness for all of our sins, Lord. Sins of omission, commission, things that we've done intentionally, knowingly.

unintentionally not knowing God we come before you as humans asking that you forgive us for our sins God we never want to disappoint you we don't want to let you down God, we don't want to drop the ball. We want to stay, God, in fellowship with you, but we are human, so we come before you asking that you forgive us. It is your promise that you would cleanse us from all unrighteousness. So God, we come asking for forgiveness of our sins. First John one and nine says, if we confess our sins.

He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all. You said you would be faithful to do it. God, you knew what we would do before you called us. You knew what we would do before we were born. You are the Alpha and Omega, so we don't surprise you. But God, we need forgiveness. And so we come before you, Lord, the things that we shouldn't have said, the things that we shouldn't have done, the people we shouldn't have hurt. Father God, the thoughts we shouldn't have had.

We ask for forgiveness right now. None of us have made it. None of us have arrived. We all have to battle our flesh. So we ask for your redemptive work on the cross. To cleanse us from all unrighteousness. And we come to you in faith Lord. Believing that you hear us even in this moment. God when we come before you. Praying.

2 Corinthians 10 Father God we believe that you hear us. We pray your word because your word is truth. And when we pray your word, we're in line with your truth. And so we believe that you hear us and that you will grant us. the desires that we pray when we pray your word mark 11 and 24 therefore i say unto you what things so ever ye desire when ye pray

believe that ye receive them and ye shall have them. God, we hold fast to that, believing that our prayers work, believing that they are effective, believing, Father God, that you will do. What we ask if we pray your word. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. So we come before God today praying 2 Corinthians 10 and 3. warfare real warfare and it starts out saying for though we walk in the flesh our war is not about the flesh or we do not war after

So Lord, we pray right now for discernment to understand that we should not be fighting against each other, but we should be on the same team with our fellow believers. A house divided against itself cannot stand. So, Father God, we ask that you would unite this house. Unite this house, Father God, that we would be... on the same page. Not fighting each other but fighting with each other. Father God align us.

As soldiers in an army, Father God, that can receive orders and fulfill those orders from our positions that we work together. We rise and fall together. We live. and die together. We fight hand in hand, arm in arm. Give us the discernment to understand this, God, so we won't waste time fighting each other. Our fight is not In the flesh. It is not a flesh fight. So help us Father God with our mentalities. No matter how we grew up. No matter God how we were raised.

No matter what our upbringing was, God, whether we were in our houses fighting brothers and sisters and mother and father, none of that matters at this point, God. Unite us as a unit so we can be effective in fighting. together. Father God help us to see our brothers and sisters as allies and not enemies. Father God help us Father God to align ourselves for this end time battle God. That we would not fight.

With each other. 1 Corinthians 3 and 3. For you are still of the flesh. For while there is jealousy and strife among you. Are you not of the flesh. And behaving only in a human way. So God help us to not. see this fight as a human battle but to see it as you see it as spiritual warfare so that the weapons that we fight with are not fleshly Help us to not attack one another fleshly. Help us to not think bad about one another. But help us God to unite for this battle.

Our war is not against one another, but the enemy is using our family, friends, loved ones, etc. to fight through and cause us to target the wrong enemy. So God, help us to not waste time believing that someone is against us when it's really the devil and them that is against us. God, let us see it the way you see it so that we don't lash out and harm. our brothers and sisters who are not our real enemies Father God it is the devil that is working through them help us to love one another God

Forgive one another, God, and have mercy towards one another. Lord, as this end approaches, we need each other. We need the love of our brothers and sisters in the faith. We need the strength of our brothers and sisters in the faith. We need the prayers of our brothers and sisters in the faith. We need everyone in position. God, the position that you've ordained us to function in. We need everyone in position as we fight this battle in the spirit and wage war against our real enemy.

satan and his kingdom so father god help us to love one another forgive one another and have mercy towards each other In Jesus' name. Colossians 3 and 13. Forbearing, putting up with one another and forgiving one another. And if any man have a quarrel against any, even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye. So God, we just rebuke the conditioning of social media that teaches us how to find fault, lash out against others.

deem others as worse than ourselves deem others as just bad and and and father god put people in the wrong places in our minds where we Get so used to talking against one another and bringing up the issues and the failures of others that we forget our own failures. God, we rebuke. That spirit right now. That spirit that operates through the internet to make us look down.

On our own brothers and sisters and those Father God that are in struggles Father God that we may even secretly be struggling in. Father God we rebuke that Pharisee spirit. Passing judgment on those based on internet rumors. Father God help us Lord to forbear one another. Forgive one another. And if we have a problem with one another. Help us to do what you said. Go to them and clear it up. Not make a post. Not make a comment. Not lash out on the world wide web.

Because we reap what we sow. So help us Father God to handle things the way you want us to. This war is not against each other. But it is against our enemy.

And his kingdom. And God we pray for the power of the Holy Ghost. to get along with our fellow soldiers that what that's what we are we're soldiers in the army of the lord we should be fighting together so we pray for the power of the holy ghost To get along with fellow soldiers and follow orders of our spiritual leaders, God. Your Holy Ghost power can override our feelings, override our emotions, override our reactions, override our flesh. Help us, Father God. Empower us to get along.

Empower us Father God to get along with each other and follow the orders of our spiritual leaders. We want to fall in line with respect. And honor for your divine order. So that we can remain effective in this last stand. We want to win. In Jesus name. We want to be victorious in Jesus' name. We want to be in line, Father God, in Jesus' name. So fill us with your Holy Ghost power.

So we can get along. Colossians 2 and 2. That their hearts might be comforted. Being knit together in love. God knit us together in love. Help us to not see the past. Help us to not see the faults. Help us Father God to be knitted together so that we will be the pattern of righteousness that the world needs to see. We can be the example Father God of how

We put our differences aside. We can be the example of how we forgive and walk in mercy and love. We can be the example that the world, we don't join in with the world attacking one another. But Father God, we... can be the examples of knitting ourselves together in spite of what may have happened in spite of what happened in the past in spite father god of our emotional

issues with one another. God knit us together in love and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding to the acknowledgement of the mystery of God and of the Father. And of Christ God. Let it be a mystery. So when the world sees us. No matter what happens. We stand together. We stand strong in love together. And the world can see it. And marvel Father God. At how we can be empowered. To walk together. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Y'all we need this. We need each other. We need each other.

the war is going on outside the war is going on in the world the war can't go on in the church it can't go on in the body of christ the war Should not be between brothers and sisters. That's not the right war. 2 Corinthians 10 and 4. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal. through God to the pulling down of strong holds. Lord we recognize that our power comes from you. It comes from you.

Our power to love. Our power to fight. Our power to forgive. Our power to have mercy. God, it all comes from you. We cannot fight a spiritual battle with our natural... abilities god we've tried that and we failed we can't fight with the flesh we can't fight in the flesh we can't retaliate in the flesh we can't get revenge in the flesh we can't lash out In the flesh, our thoughts, actions and plans must all line up with you so that we can be empowered to do.

What you desire us to do. The only way we can fight. Is with your spiritual weapons God. With your spiritual weapons. Our weapons are not carnal. But are mighty through God. We cannot fight a spiritual battle with our natural abilities. So help us, God, to remain spiritual. Help us to seek out the spirit. Help us, God, to stay before you. Read about you. Talk to you to get and remain spiritual. And not the world's version of spirituality, but...

Righteousness through Jesus Christ. Help us to be and remain spiritual in the name of Jesus. Zechariah 4 and 6 then he answered and spake and said unto me saying this is the word of the Lord unto Zerubbabel saying not by might not nor by power but by my spirit that means we can't do it unless we do it by the spirit of the living God so God empower us father God to fight this spiritual battle not by natural means. And Lord, give us your power. We call on your power right now. Fill us with Your...

Father God, just like those disciples that knew of John's baptism, but they didn't know of the indwelling of the Holy Ghost. We ask that you fill us with the power of your Holy Ghost. Father God. Fill us. We need the mighty power of the comforter to remedy us, restore us, and reposition us to fight the good fight of God. Faith. Fill us, O Lord. Fill us, O Lord. And just like the old church used to make us seek after you or tarry after you. Really, they were...

making us position ourselves to push aside all distractions. So whatever is distracting us from this and feeling, God, remove it. Help us, Father God. to remove the distractions father god to find that time to seek after you so we can be filled with the power of your holy ghost That empowers us to fight the good fight of faith. And we pray that the power of the Holy Ghost fill us and give us the ability to continue to fight.

even when we grow weary. Growing weary is a part of it. We will grow weary, but the power of the Holy Ghost can empower us to keep going. Even when we don't have the physical strength we can fight with the spiritual strength. The power of God will empower us. We all grow weary. We all grow doubtful. We all look for other ways. When we grow tired, we're human beings. This is why the empowerment of the Holy Ghost is so important. We have to be empowered to keep.

going we won't keep going by our own strength we won't keep going by our own power we won't keep going by the power of our flesh but we have to be empowered

By the power of the Holy Ghost. Romans 15 and 13. Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing that ye may... abound in this is powerful hope how do we abound in hope through the power of the Holy Ghost when we doubt when we want to quit when we want to give up when we want to leave our post, when we want to just give it all up and end it all, we can abound in hope through the power of the Holy Ghost.

When you're struggling with even suicidal thoughts, wondering why am I here and it'll be better if I'm not here. We abound in hope through the power of the Holy Ghost. We don't give up. We don't give in. We will be victorious. We have that hope abounding in us because we have the power of the Holy Ghost. It takes the power.

the indwelling, the supernatural being dwelling in us. We call him a comforter because in those bad times, in those weak moments, In those times when we want to give up, we are comforted supernaturally to continue on because of the power of the Holy Ghost.

We can get caught up in our power. We can get caught up in our ability. And every time we do, we fall. We fall when we try to do it on our own. Live up to other people's expectations. We fall. We have to live up to God's expectation. And his expectation is that we be filled with his Holy Ghost. This is what Jesus promised to send back a comforter. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. I ain't trying to preach, pray.

But this is the truth. We need to be filled with his power in this hour. God pulled down everything. Every stronghold and reveal the enemy that is hidden in our minds and bodies. Pull down. Every stronghold. The weapons of our warfare are not cornal but mighty through God to the pulling down of the stronghold. Pulling the rock out of the front of the cave to reveal what is hidden inside.

So God, pull down every stronghold and reveal the enemy that is hidden in our minds and bodies. The tempter that comes to bring temptations that we feel. are overbearing Father God the sins that easily beset us. Father God whatever's going on let your Holy Ghost power reveal it to us. Pull that stronghold down, God. And give us the power to deal with the enemy. In the name of Jesus.

We don't have to Google for a deliverance ministry. Father God, we don't have to call around finding somebody to lay hands on us. God, you've given us the formula right here. The weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but they are mighty. weapons of our warfare and they can pull down strongholds. In the name of Jesus, we give no place to the devil. He is not allowed to dwell in our minds, our bodies, or our spirit. Every stronghold be destroyed in Jesus name.

Every place that the enemy has hidden and found refuge in us and in our bodies, we cast him out right now. We are the temples of the Holy Ghost and we will not allow any devil to reside. in us if we're filled with the Holy Ghost that devil has to go in the name of Jesus we cast him out right now hallelujah Mark 3 and 15 says, and to have power to heal. I don't know why we pray for our bodies, for sicknesses.

And we believe God to take sickness out of our body. But we don't believe God to cast devils out of our own bodies. But in the same passage, he said, we have power to heal sicknesses and to cast out devils. We should be praying against the devil, casting the devil out of our own bodies. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. This is why the comforter came. If everybody was waiting to find Paul and Peter and John and James, then there would be many that would just have to keep that devil.

But God gave us the power of the comforter to come, to give us, to empower us so that we can have power to heal the sick and to cast out devils. When no one is there to lay hands on us. When no one is there to pray for us. We have power. In the name of Jesus. In the name of Jesus. In the name of Jesus. Hallelujah.

All these folks got warfare books and books on warfare and warfare this and warfare that. And they basically just complicated the formula. Folks just need to be filled with the Holy Ghost.

Hallelujah. Don't skip that part. Hallelujah. But you got to give up some stuff to get that. 2 Corinthians 10 and 5. Casting down imaginations. And every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God. And bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ. This is warfare. This is the formula. So we cast down all imaginations.

That cause us to create wayward plans, thoughts, and behaviors. Those are imaginations that cause us to plan things against God. Plan to do things that God is not pleased with. So we have to cast those imaginations down by the power of the Holy. You can't do it. You can't do it without the power of the Holy Ghost. You're going to give yourself a pass. You're going to give yourself justification.

I deserve this. I need this. I got to do this. You're going to justify it. But the power of the Holy Ghost will cast that entire imagination down so that no wayward plans, thoughts, and behaviors will even formulate. Before they formulate. And become actions. So help us Lord to rebuke these imaginations. In their infancy. So they will not mature into actions. and ears with your righteousness so we will not entertain defiled images actions and thought processes hallelujah

Hallelujah. Once you entertain images, actions, and thought processes, then the next step is they manifest. So Father God. Empower us to cast these things down. Ephesians 4 and 23. And be renewed in the spirit of your mind. Renewed is a powerful word. That means you were new. And then you got un-new. And you got to be renewed. So we all have to be renewed. In our spirit. In the spirit of our minds. We need our minds renewed. We were made new. New creations.

Then we got unnewed because we let the past, we let sins come back. But thank God for Ephesians 4 and 23 that says we can be renewed. In the spirit of our mind. And we cast down the high things that are coming between us and you, Lord. We cast down the high things. That job, that our finances, that car, that house, those carnal goals, those accolades, those...

things, those ambitions. Father God, anything that's coming between us and you that we've made an idol is a high thing. That social media page, that those likes, those views. father god that those reels the time we spend on it all of that can just become a high thing and it's coming between us and you things that are becoming too important

And we are raising too high in the places you should reign. We cast them down right now by the power of your Holy Ghost. We use your spiritual weapon and we cast it down. And Father God, we cast down trauma, deficits, upbringings, errors, sins, all of these things that come to plague our thoughts and our minds.

and can eventually become a high thing god we cast that down we won't think of what happened to us every day we won't think of the deficits we have every day we won't think of our sorted upbringing every day we won't think of errors and

past sins every day father god help us to be free from these things free from these things that are lifting themselves up as high above your power above your glory above your Father God we pray against these things and we cast those imaginations down right now in Jesus name Romans 1 and 21 because that when they knew God they glorified him not as God neither were they thankful but became vain in their imaginations. Once you become vain in your imagination.

Your heart becomes foolish and is darkened. So God, we cast down vain imaginations right now. Rescue our hearts from trauma, from deficits. from that upbringing, from errors, from sins. Rescue our hearts and bring the light into our hearts, God.

And finally, we bring all of our thoughts into captivity. We will not allow social media to cause us to discontently wonder. We will not allow people bringing up the past to cause us to ponder. We will not allow insecurities and low self-worth to cause us to practice sin. We take every one of those thought processes captive and bring them under your obedience, God. We will obey you. We will believe your report. And we will think on the right things. In Jesus name.

Father God, this is a conditioning process to condition us to think on the right things. That's a part of warfare, spiritual warfare. Philippians 4 and 8 says, Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely. Whatsoever things are of good report. If there be any virtue, there be any praise. Think on these things. Give us this mind as we. In this hour. In Jesus' name. Hallelujah.

Obedience of Christ. Give you glory, Lord. It's not by our own power, our own might. We can do it. We need your spirit, Lord. We're calling on your spirit. Fill us. Fill us with your power. Fill us with your power. Every thought to the obedience of Christ. Every thought of the obedience of Christ we yield. Every thought of the obedience of Christ. Every thought to the obedience of Christ. We cast down every thought.

and every vain imagination that would exalt itself against the knowledge of our god we cast down every thought Every faint imagination That would exalt itself against the knowledge of our god so we say fear we cast you down In the name of Jesus. We say fear. We cast you down. In the name of Jesus. Jesus, in the name of Jesus, we call out doubt. Doubt, we cast you down. In the name of Jesus. In the name of Jesus. We stay down. We cast you down.

In the name of Jesus, in the name of Jesus, we cast down every thought. In every vain imagination That would exalt itself Against the knowledge of our God. Oh Lord. So we say fear. We cast you down. In the name of Jesus. It's in the name of Jesus. We say fear. We cast you down. It's in the name of Jesus. It's in the name of Jesus. And any doubts we have, we say doubt. Doubt we cast you down.

It's in the name of Jesus. You've got to submit to the name of Jesus. You have to yield all down. We cast you. of Jesus hallelujah hallelujah Verse of that passage says, and having a readiness to revenge all disobedience when your obedience is. fulfilled I want my obedience to be fulfilled I don't want to stop short of it I don't want to miss it

I want to get it right. Amen. Everyone just stand to your feet. Come on. Let's just lift our hands. Father God, we just want our obedience fulfilled. We want to finish. what you have started. We want to make it to the end. So equip us, Father God, with these spiritual weapons to continue to fight. And most importantly, fill us with the power of your Holy Ghost. In Jesus' name we pray.
