Episode description

In season 3, episode 69, Crawly and Dustin recap another series victory for the Cubs, who nonetheless still can't get a sweep. The Cubs won the first two games against the Marlins thanks to a high-powered offense, but the bats disappeared in the series finale as Chicago had to settle for meatloaf. Rich Biesterfeld of North Side Bound then talks to us about all the action in Arizona as the Arizona Complex League bridge camp is underway and many familiar names are working to be ready for the 2025 season. Later, Crawly and Dustin discuss the latest Cubs news and roster moves, including infielder David Bote being designated for assignment and third base prospect Cam Smith homering in six consecutive games. They also preview the upcoming Cubs-Pirates series with a look at the pitching probables, key matchups and who's hot and who's not for each team.
