Episode description
In season 4, episode 12, Crawly and Dustin react to infielder Alex Bregman spurning the Cubs in free agency to join the Red Sox on a three-year, $120-million deal. They also discuss the lengths that Cubs president of baseball operations Jed Hoyer went to try to get Bregman to Chicago and what the club could do next. Crawly then talks to local Arizona photographer Rich Biesterfeld about what he has seen from the Cubs as they’ve reported to spring training in Mesa. Later, Crawly and Dustin discuss the latest MLB news, including right-hander Nick Pivetta signing with the Padres, Cubs center fielder Pete Crow-Armstrong’s new hairdo and an update on diehard Cubs fan Ronnie Woo Woo’s health.
