Daylight savings time is no fun for anyone, except plants. Even that, a pseudo-scientific “fact” we just came up with, is probably not something you’d want to toss into the middle of a 10 yr old’s birthday party in hopes of stoking joy levels. Oh, right: Hockey. Your Penguins ran up the score against the Flyers yesterday, shortly before today’s visiting Rangers came from behind to beat Buffalo in OT. That sets us all up for a mutual back-half of respective back-to-backs, doesn’t it? Word has it it’s our #1 goal, Tristan Jarry, about 180 feet down the ice from Jaroslav Halak, New York’s backup. Ryan Lindgren is still out for the Rangers, while Ryan Poehling hasn’t been spotted in the PIT lineup for ...some time. Nick Bonino has gone missing with a [insert yucky sounding word] kidney, giving us - well, literally nothing except - an episode title.
