Story Transcript:

En: The morning on the shores of the Kinneret was full of hope and calm.

En: The family of Miriam, Ayelet, and her son Eitan set up a small camp.

En: Miriam spread out a large blanket near the water, and the children played nearby.

En: A light spring breeze blew, and the nearby bonfire, remnants from the Lag Ba'Omer celebrations, emitted a pleasant smoky scent.

En: Miriam always knew how to keep her family safe.

En: As her eyes scanned the horizon, she noticed ominous dark clouds in the distance.

En: She knew a storm was approaching.

En: "Children, come closer to me," she called out steadily.

En: But Eitan, young and determined to show his bravery, looked at the horizon with innocent optimism.

En: "Mom, I can find a place for shelter," he said, proud of himself.

En: Leora, his younger sister, came closer, feeling her way with her hand.

En: "Mom, I'm afraid," she whispered.

En: "Everything will be okay," Miriam answered gently.

En: "It's important we stay together."

En: But Eitan wanted to prove himself, and in a moment of reckless courage, he went out into the strong wind to look for a safer place.

En: The storm quickly intensified.

En: The wind blew fiercely and the rain began to pour heavily.

En: The water swirled next to the path.

En: Miriam gathered Leora and decided they needed to find shelter before the hills behind them became visible in the horizon.

En: While embracing Leora, Miriam tried to look around and see where Eitan had gone.

En: The roaring storm made it difficult for her.

He: "איתן!
En: "Eitan!"

En: she called out, but the thunder drowned her voice.

En: They found a safe haven under a large tree that offered them some protection from the rain.

En: Leora shivered, and Miriam hugged her warmly.

En: As the skies began to calm and the raindrops became rarer, she knew she needed to find Eitan.

En: Miriam's heart was heavy with worry, but she heard a familiar voice calling and saw him running towards her.

He: "אמא!
En: "Mom!

He: סליחה.
En: I'm sorry.

En: I realized it's safer to stay together."

En: Miriam smiled, and relief washed over her.

En: "The main thing is that you're okay, Eitan," she said softly.

En: "Next time, we'll stay together."

En: When the family reunited, Eitan learned the true value of family and caution.

En: Miriam, on the other hand, learned that she could trust them, albeit with proper guidance.

En: The storm had now passed, and calm returned to the shores of the Kinneret.

En: The waters gently touched the sand once more, reflecting tranquillity.

En: And the family, along with the lessons of the day, went home, united and stronger than ever.
