Story Transcript:

En: It was the end of autumn on the campus located in the serene, green surroundings.

En: The leaves, in shades of orange and gold, blanketed the grounds, and a light breeze blew, heralding the arrival of winter.

En: Inside, in the dorm room, two young men, Ori and Noah, sat on the bed covered with a soft, dark blue blanket.

En: Ori was a shy yet curious boy, hoping to find his way to fitting in on campus.

En: He looked up to Noah, who had welcomed him with a burst of kindness and spoke frankly from the very first moments they met.

En: "Ori," Noah said, as two candles were lit on the Hanukkiah in the window.

En: "How about joining Rachel and me for the holiday candle lighting?"

En: Ori hesitated for a moment, weighing the risk of forming a new connection, but Noah's eyes were filled with sincerity.

En: "Yes, I'll come," Ori replied with a small smile.

En: When they entered Rachel's room, the sight was spectacular.

En: Strings of colorful lights hung around the room, and music blended with the scent of sweet sufganiyot.

En: Noah raised a glass and clinked it with Ori's in amusement.

En: During the candle lighting, Noah suddenly spoke with great emotion.

En: "Ori, there's something I want to share.

En: My family expects great things from me, and sometimes it's difficult.

En: I feel pressure all the time."

En: Ori looked at him with understanding, taking a deep breath.

En: "I also feel lonely sometimes.

En: I miss home, but I really want to find good friends here."

En: They sat across from each other, and it was a moment of pure, honest connection.

En: They understood that the path to friendship begins with the ability to share and be open with one another.

En: Over the following evenings, Noah and Ori became good friends, sharing secrets, recalling memories, and sharing dreams.

En: Rachel continued to join them, inviting them to explore the city or host game nights.

En: Ori became more self-assured, and Noah learned to trust others and share his difficulties.

En: Thus, the holiday ended with the realization and decision to continue supporting each other.

En: They knew that together they could face the challenges of campus life and life itself.

En: Their friendship was the flame that warmed them during the cool autumn nights, bringing them light with great hope for the future.
