Settled Dust

Juan and Mary Ann, a Tejano peon and runaway slave, attempt to raise their daughter Luci, in the aftermath of the Texas Revolution. As the Texians look to re-establish order in the newly formed Texas Republic, Tejanos and runaway slaves must find a new way to survive. Many of them settle in the disputed territory that is claimed by both Mexico and Texas. Will Juan and his family be able to survive in this new age?
