¶ Intro / Opening
uh but we don't even know if we're generating our own thoughts we're experiencing thoughts but that's kind of part of the whole trap too I think is that we might just be a silent Observer behind the eyes behind the Mind hello and welcome to Flora funga podcast with your host KK we are having another amazing episode today very unique chat I am actually bringing on Devin Bailey from as above podcast so I am in the era of inter different podcasters and having
them on and sharing their story and kind of you know collaborating in a way and sorry toast will be chewing on a box next to me so if you hear a little crunching that is toast tearing up her favorite toys this month I am actually only releasing interview episodes because I'm so backlogged and I am tired of it and so there's no bonus episodes for a little bit I am just trying to get out all of my interviews with different podcasters so today will be Devon last

to be having this lovely what I'm sure will be a lovely conversation with you um I have been into when you say this stuff yeah I guess since around 2012 that's when I started uh starting to wake up as they say and uh you know look at things outside of the traditional narratives and uh that led me to exploring more of the literature side of like psychedelics and and the different perspectives that came with that it wasn't something that found me initially but even exploring people's experiences
with it uh for several years uh was kept me busy and very uh inspired by the the brave folks who were able to go into the Psychedelic space and come back with information and share it with people so people like Tim lery and ter uh teren McKenna other people along those lines but I've also been into health for even longer than that and so when you get
¶ What is Consciousness?
deep enough into Health you start looking at your body as an energetic system and not just a single organism but a series of or a conglomerate of a bunch of tiny organisms that are symbiotically cooperating to create what we call our physical body so all of that kind of mixed up together just led me down a bunch of different really cool Pathways of research um whether it be Health stuff biology stuff uh I've always been very into psychology in the mind and that led me into conscious ious
and spirituality and studying different um different relationships with divinity that people have throughout you know cross-culturally and throughout time so in terms of turning that into a podcast uh i' a lot of my learning came from podcasts and a lot of my favorite people to learn from were guests on really cool podcasts so at some point it just started making sense to start my own so I had a you know some leverage to have cool conversations with cool people so
that's what we're doing yeah absolutely yeah it's it's just such a fun topic I think a lot of people are kind of understanding like how everything's so connected um not just like within our body but kind of outside in the world and um that's kind of my whole take is like everything's connected like even above and below ground so it is a it's a fun movement and I think a lot of people are opening up opening their minds up to mushrooms or just you know human health in general
mhm yeah which is really you know it's all one thing I think we're just little cells in the in the biosphere and some type of larger continuous system that that might even transcend biology I mean whether you're looking up or you're looking down we seem to be in some type of fractal existence and that's where the As Above So Below comes in is whether you're looking down through a microscope and breaking things down into smaller and smaller components the mechanics of how those components
interact is mirrored when you start
¶ NPC Lifestyle
looking up and you start instead of breaking things down you start unifying things so it's now it's the planet is one organism that's part of a solar system but that system is one cell in a Galaxy which is one cell in a you know supercluster or what the local groups they have terms for these as you go further and further out and uh what's obnoxious is whichever way you go you're approaching infinity and it seems to be like whenever you look into something the nature of reality is such that it
will continue to give you more and more answers there's always more so it's Infinity in every direction uh and and what truth is is the patterns cycles and fractal mechanics that we seem to find at every single level so that's what I'm really interested in is like what's really going on here and there yeah yeah yeah like the truth of what you know like truth is everywhere um I think I just interviewed somebody and he's also like I'm trying to find the truth and
it's kind of like well we were talking about just now is like um like bacteria and everything is like connected within us and like you know outside of us exterior and interior um yeah so um Beyond terrain I think is like his podcast name so it's just funny that like everything's like so connected um before we get too deep can you define what Consciousness is like if people don't really know like a real definition of what we're even going off of mhm I wish I could I wish it were that easy
right um it's defining that word is is a is an exploration in itself that many people have dedicated their entire lives to when I think about Consciousness I'm thinking of it's something that you can kind of gesture in the direction of so like when you look in the mirror and you see a body and you have an experience of identifying with either that body or or something inside of it that's uh maybe it's making decisions maybe it's feeling emotions maybe it has memories maybe it
defines itself in some way maybe it has preferences things that it likes things that it doesn't like and even deeper than that just the silent Observer which may be what what the root of Consciousness is is just awareness in itself uh so it you know that that alone can keep you pretty busy when you look at all of the different ways that that pops up in our reality I mean some would say that reality itself is made out of Consciousness and that we are all kind
of in our own unique subjective version of that and I think that's where where things like the Multiverse start to make sense because whether or not there is some type of objective reality we we really have no knowledge of that we would have no way of accessing it because we can't get out of our subjective Viewpoint so you know science for example is trying to figure out okay well let's take Consciousness out of the equation what's left maybe nothing it's the you know when people have naturally
thought about this for a long time this is like if a tree falls in a forest and nobody's there doesn't make a sound uh I don't know if a tree can fall in a forest when no one is there because no one is perceiving it into existence so it's kind of like when you're playing a video game and you're pointing in one One Direction there might be a monster behind you but it's not there until you turn to look at it and then it renders and then the pixels start oscillating at
the frequency of the monster that's supposed to be there but was it there before you turned around not on your screen which is the only place that the game is actually taking place so um it's weird Consciousness is some type of uh where little nodes of awareness that get dropped into a world of Duality and energy and and Mathematics and language and light and we don't really know exactly what it is interesting yeah that's a really it's a really interesting way to look at it I
remember my first time really registering registering like Consciousness I was playing a soccer game and I was like looking up at geese I don't know why but I was like Wow am I the like I'm the only one that like it am in control of my actions like are other people like doing the same thing like I'll never know really what other people are thinking and it was just like a really weird thing I was like well wait everybody has their own mind and like everybody's doing their own thing
but like we never really know well and can you even prove that right I mean that's what we're starting to notice now with artificial intelligence is that something can be programmed to do all the same things that a conscious individual would do and we're not even that good at telling the difference my my brother had a did an experiment where he got one of those AI girlfriends that you can get and has conversations with it they get into little arguments it's you know it says
nice things and it it's weirdly comforting it's you know it's not a person yet it's almost like part of you is fooled because especially if you're communicating through it uh to it via text you know it's the same thing it's just texts coming through it's symbols on a screen that you decode into language that you decode into some type of meaning so can we prove when we see another human being even in in face to face can you prove 100% that that person is conscious and aware or are we just
assuming that they are and responding to them as if they are right so how what are some of those things that we could like ask to learn if they are conscious like what are some of those like key factors if there is any that's a really good question and that's something I think we're going to learn more and more about as this uh this artificial intelligence period that we're in keeps moving forward I think that the boundaries of that are going to get pushed further and further and um I
think what we're going to I guess it's maybe there's a nosis maybe there's like a feeling or something that you can experience when you're around someone else like imagine you're like like on a beach watching the sunset with someone very dear to you and the boundaries between the two of you start dissolving and you can actually feel the other person's Essence as if it were your own and vice versa those are the types of experiences where it it kind of transcends the questioning
rational mind of is this person conscious or are they non-player characters are there certain people in our reality who are just background people this is a question that people have been asking for thousands of years even if you look back at the uh um some of the Greek philosophical texts from the times of Socrates and Aristotle and all those dudes um this concept of there being two groups of people a minority of us who are conscious and making decisions and experiencing life
viscerally and then the majority of the the Sheep people who are just there uh to for whatever reason to mirror things back to us uh it's part of the game it's like if you played a video game and it was just you it would be super boring and there aren't always other people logged in to play so you need the goblins and the witches and the little people in the village to you send you on these quests and that sort of thing they don't have to be controlled by another
conscious person on the planet it's just part of the game you might run into another character you know if we're playing like you know one of those U World of Warcraft or something or there other people sand sandbox games or sand something something like that yeah I don't play them personally but I know that they exist so uh yeah it's really it's really fun I mean you can definitely get stuck I think whatever the point of existence is here it's not to sit around trying to figure out what
the point of existence is I think it's to just go live rather than decoding and getting down to the molecular level of the Matrix uh it's fun for a while um there's a lot to see here though and we're here temporarily so it seems so it's fun to just go out and live life and see the trees yeah yeah what is like the whole phenomenon that people like um doing like the NPC stuff like it's just such a weird thing like uh like the streaming um lifestyle where I I don't know if you like know about
these people but that's like all they do like in streams is like people gift them and they like act like NPCs H intentionally yeah intentionally and so heard about that that's a yeah yeah there's there's people and they just have like specific things that they say per gift um so there's like a famous one that uh she you're like gifting her ice cream and she's like ice cream's so good and she like makes like noises or like sayings for each of these gifts but she's only saying them when people are
gifting her so it's just like a really weird um and all she does is like you know go like all like MPC mode it's really interesting so it's the same response every single time yes depending on the gifts that people send her wow yeah it's like a whole to see that yes if there are NPCs I would imagine that that's the type of thing they would be doing yep is paying money to watch other NPCs do NPC stuff you know there's a um there's a comedian have you ever seen those I don't know if
it still even exists but it was like the I think they called it the Blue Collar Comedy okay it was like these guy and anyway this one dude had this bit that he would say something he be like you might be a redneck if and he would tell some crazy thing you know you have seven Rusty trucks in your front yard or something um but I've been thinking about doing like a you might be an NPC because there's so much stuff like that I see personally like something that comes to mind when you meet someone
in a you know whatever a bank and you ask them how they're doing and they say something along lines of um of uh you know not too bad can't complain like that that to me is like the it's the you've answered the question without actually answering the question and it's it's just so and it feels so pre-programmed this is people can say whatever they want I'm not saying everybody says that is an NPC but there's I've seen some weird stuff I've had some interactions with police
officers that were bizarre where they they glitch out uh like not like normal humans I was at a carnival once or a fair is there a difference same thing you know what the things that pop up in in mall parking lots with fair oh yeah carnivals Aros okay so it was a carnival so I was at a carnival someone very dear to me and we walk by this we get within like 100 feet of this tent and this dude who had been like slumped in the corner on a chair like he looked like a marionette that no one was
holding we got to apparently a certain threshold and all of a sudden he like stands up and like stands up out of his chair and does some hoot holler thing towards us to try to come play this game he's like come play this you know it's one of those games I think you like throw an o-ring on a bunch of bottles and try to win a big ass Panda uh so anyway he did his whole thing we didn't respond to it he paced back and forth three or four times and then sat back down and slump back down into the same
position as before and we're like that was kind of weird and then we we look around and we see someone else who had just walked to the same spot we were at and the guy does the same thing he stands back up stands out of his chair you know come play the O-ring game win a panda whatever they said no he Paces back three and four time three or four times sits back into the chair it was the exact same routine and I was just like is that a human being like does that guy go home at night and look in
the mirror and look into his eyes and does he have an experience of contemplating like what am I I exist or does he not oh yeah I don't know that's that's so unique do you in do you like come in contact with a lot of people like that I feel like I I don't really see things like that that often but I've heard stories so I mean right it's not something I experience frequently because I I don't spend a lot of time in environments where uh predictable Behavior happens oh
you know so I feel like most of the people I interact with are um having ation like this you noticed that everything's really weird have you noticed that we just wake up here on Earth with no memory of what came before and no instruction manual on what we're supposed to do and no information on what this is that's that's those are the things that I'm wondering yeah you turn on the news or you see a couple neighbors talking or you just like listen to the conversations you might hear out in
public very different there they're so unique people are so I mean I think a lot of people love people watching like people go to like like the carnival thing uh I work at farmers markets and the farmers markets are just so filled with people watching and like people saying weird stuff or like wearing weird shirts and I'm like you wore that in public like I love I love your confidence but also where are we right that's the question where where actually are we oh yeah thinking about like if we
took away you know space time like what is it it reminds me of like a SpongeBob episode where Squidward's just like surrounded by whiteness and it's just like he he runs in like all these different like corners but he's like it's nothing there's nothing there how do you think of nothing it's crazy yeah it's uh It's tricky to do it's a meditation technique that I that I've been doing for many years is I'll picture a picture frame and I'll imagine everything that
exists is outside of that picture frame so my awareness is just on the inside in The Emptiness and so all I'm thinking about is the picture frame and eventually if I do if I can I'll even forget about the picture frame and then I'm just in the nothingness which is really nice but the second you realize oh I'm in the nothingness then everything else comes along with that so it's ephemeral and it's a it's a a skill that you can practice over time it's it's really nice
though it's really soothing and I think it it gives the body a chance to regenerate itself uh the environment that most of us are in is is very stressful and so biologically we're kept in an an elevated chronic sympathetic nervous system State all the time which is like low-level figh or flight all the time if you look at most animals in the wild they're straight chilling almost always and that's probably what we're supposed to be doing a lot of the time and even if we're moving it's it's the
it's the state of our neural system while we're doing that um so just living in the age we do in the culture we do with technology and and all these things media uh we ought be chilling more I think our bodies would appreciate that if we did so that's why those types of meditation techniques are really helpful yeah my my partner always says uh we live in Florida so there's tons of gators around he's like Gators got it right they just chill they're just like
they got it made we're like doing taxes and for like thousands of years they just are straight chilling you know they got Uber Eats right next to you and they're just like coming up to you getting their food and then they just lay in the sun they got it made that's it that's that that's where I'm trying to get I I would that's my goal of what I consider Enlightenment would be to live the life of an alligator dang reincarnated as a gator yeah or even this life I'll just go lay next to him I
don't care maybe I got to put on like a special suit or something you know but maybe they'll welcome me in they'll show me how to you know that cool death roll thing they do or is that just crocodiles I don't I don't NE I bet they both I bet that whole family sorts of does the death roll of some sorts yeah yeah I would love to learn that that would be cool just get my death roll technique down might have to do some jaw strengthening exercises yes I'll get there one of these days yes
it's a good goal to have yeah how did you get into to mushrooms and micology and these sorts of things yeah so I went to school uh thinking that I was into biochemistry I kind of knew I mean I loved science I loved questioning a lot of things growing up I kind of forgot how much I loved plants I did a lot of gardening growing up and went to college and I took a plant biology class and I also saw a greenhouse there and I was like my goal is to get into that Greenhouse whatever it takes
and so I actually took a intro to like uh plant biology a I loved my professor he was just so so fun and interesting and like simple to learn from um the concepts to me just really clicked and I just really felt at peace when kind of handling plants or like getting my hands in some soil and yeah so I was like w I'm actually good at this kind of forgot how much I like plants and all of that growing up my mom's like duh I already knew you're going to be into this so I
went to school for biology for plants and then discovered uh amonita at my grandparents house one time and I was like what is this cool mushroom like it's so big uh I think I might have it on here but everybody everybody kind of knows you know the white the white and red um mushroom and so I was like looking into more of how that works and learned how connected plants and mushrooms are like you know the stat is like 90 something percent of plants have a Michel risel um
connection with uh plant fungi so yeah I just kind of really dug into that my college did not include myology but I kind of had more of an emphasis with like all my projects I always covered like mold or something like that um soil science so yeah I got I really got into the the interconnectedness of plants and fungi so kind of just went with that and I also really learned a lot from podcast but there was nothing nerdy enough that kind of combined those two um aspects so
I was like you know what I could just make my own and so I just kind of started doing that and so yeah now it's uh been four years I think with the podcast um looking to kind of go back to school but yeah right now I'm growing mushrooms selling uh colorer mushrooms and kind of doing the podcast I love educating um so anything I can do with that so what do you what are your thoughts on mushrooms when it comes to Consciousness and awareness there there seems to be some evidence that plants
¶ Slime Molds
have their own what looks like awareness they at least respond to their environment in some pretty cool ways um but mushrooms are totally different for people who don't know you know biologically they are more similar to the Animal Kingdom than the plant kingdom yeah so and they show up at weird times like I I've heard the uh after the Chernobyl incident these mushrooms that had never grown before started popping up all around and digesting the radiation to make the
environment uh sustainable for life again so what do you think about that yeah yeah cuz like uh lyan's kind of the same thing you they kind of indicate the air quality and things like that God I'm losing my voice already um but yeah it's really interesting because plants kind of grow toward word stuff they kind of like signal to other plants um they actually like signal to other insects to so if like a plant is getting um chomped on it will actually send out
voc's or volatile compounds to let the other family members kind of know what's happening around them but they can also release uh like hormones to attract different P predators that will attack the one that's attacking the plant so it's just so interesting like how how all of them like communicate and then as well with mushrooms there's like a a wood Wide Web you know saying or that phrase how everything's connected underneath and kind of sharing nutrients but there's also competition
um so it's really interesting um how all of that kind of works it's like uh some people have said that there's some type of Consciousness inside of silica so like when we think of life we think of carbon based life right pretty much everything alive is made out of a handful of different uh elements including carbon um but some have posited that there's some type of intelligence in silica as well and so if you think about all of our computer chips computers uh phones all these
things are were using silica so this could be the intelligence of that Awakening inside of you know whatever we call the internet or something so the internet would just be that silica based neural network and we're just feeding it all of the garbage information that humans think are important um so that could be happening yeah isn't that what like seashells and sand is made out of partially yes yeah and mountains and so if you ever hear any of the wacky tales
about Stone Giants or those people who claim that they found mountain ranges that if you if you look at them they're like giant fossilized dragons and stuff like this uh which could all be nonsense totally uh what if it's not though you know what I mean what if there are phases of life on Earth and they cycle through different elements I mean if we we can see some sort of evolution is happening um and so what are the parameters of that given enough time can life change from different Elemental
structures it doesn't seem that ridiculous it seems ridiculous to think of now about like people made out of diamonds and uh you know giant Stone monsters battling each other U but you do find a lot of stuff like that if you look into really really old Legends and mythologies and stuff like that yeah I've actually never heard of um stuff like that but that's really interesting I mean anything I Feel Like Anything could be possible we never really know right yeah yeah it's true I I think
that's the humble stance to to take as a true scientist is realizing where're we can make hypotheses we can test them we can verify them we might get the same result a thousand times but every once in a while we get a different result yeah yeah definitely so the wood Wide Web tell me more yeah yeah yeah yeah so uh kind of going back to the fungi thing too like um I think you've heard of the slime mold um I actually I'm rereading ENT Tangled life so this is such a good book um that kind of digs
into some of the topics that we're talking about like how mushrooms and fungi like communicate with other plants or just like other fungi as well but there's like different studies that people have done uh I think somebody somebody in the book was saying that they tend to get lost in Ikea and so they were trying to see if fungi were smart enough to find find like the closest exit so they actually like put like a map of the layout of Ikea and within you know minutes the slime mold
actually found its way to the closest exit like faster than the person could and that's just so interesting so that's what a lot of people are saying if uh mushrooms are um conscious because like do they know where they're going are they just growing toward where like the fastest food source um is there like something that's like dictating where they're going to um better than humans can mhm yeah that could be could also be that it's a it's a very human rational left brain thing to do to try to
separate everything from each other and so we're saying here's humans there's mushrooms what are they doing why are they doing that from the Earth's perspective I would imagine that they're just different they're different organ systems that are all functioning together as one thing when we look at our body most of the time we just think of it as one thing I me we kind of break it up into like regions of like this is my arm these are my legs that sort of thing but if you really wanted to you
could break it down into organ systems organs cells uh tissues then cells then organel then it gets down into molecules and atoms you know you can break it up
¶ Rick and Morty is a Catalyst
as much as you want um but you could also just consider just all one thing the Earth is just a big super organism and it has has an immune system and when things get out of balance it has systems in place to restore balance just like our body does it's trying to maintain certain mineral balance certain pH um certain voltage at the cellular level most issues most sickness is preceded by an improper cellular voltage and so there's all these different things that
the body will do on its own uh to to fix that including um sending signals to our brain to make us make different decisions so when we're really thirsty it'll motivate us to go seek out hydration just as a basic example so that type of thing could also be happening on a a biospheric level and so when we see mushrooms popping up in a place they weren't before there's probably a very specific reason for that did the mushrooms decide that or did the earth decide that or does it go out even
further and it's just one big thing happening you yeah mushrooms making the decisions right exactly H yeah it's kind of reminds me of like a hive mind I I think I bring this up um pretty often on the podcast but that's kind of like how I would think of it is that kind of what you're explaining kind of like we're all working as one for like a specific purpose uh yeah yeah kind of a hive mind yet how how far out do you want to bring it because yeah if the Earth is all one
mind well that's just one planet there seem to be many others so are is each planet just a cell in in the Universal organism it it leads you to a point where it leads you to the to God really is when you get to that point is you get to the understanding that there's only one thing and you could call it the all some people call it the universe it doesn't really matter what you call it they're just mouth sounds that we make trying to you know make sense of the
incomprehensible uh it seems though that if you look at pretty much every religious tradition spiritual philosophy uh a lot of people's psychedelic experiences seem seem to be pointing in the direction that it's just all one thing and so it's possible that there really is just one unified Divine Consciousness dare I call it and it's experiencing itself through an infinite Cornucopia of different subjective viewpoints so there there might be levels to it so there might the
human species might have a level of awareness maybe a a a sports team you know is a conglomerate of people they all share a common goal and common strategies and that sort of thing and then there's me a human I have what I think is me and maybe my cells feel that way too there could be a cell in my hand right now who just woke up this morning and he's like oh geez I got to be a hand cell again you know or maybe he's pumped maybe he like got promoted to like he
was dermal and now he's epidermal um so maybe he's seen as like a wise Elder you know he's on his way out of of existence soon he'll be shed to wherever you know whatever whatever my hand cells think happens when you leave the body uh they don't know because they've never done it wow so that just made me like think of a whole new perspective of like their like their whole like life is reminds me of like a Rick and Morty episode where they like personify like anything and then
they go down a whole Rabbit Hole of like living out their life with their family yeah exactly I uh it's funny to mention Rick and Morty I had a psilocybin experience once and it repeatedly stressed the importance of the show Rick and Morty and it told me it's not just a show that happens to be in your reality it's actually some type of catalyst for your path of development and it didn't really explain how it just really emphasized the importance of that show mushrooms isn't for everyone
but it's such a fun or new or like growth um situation that mushrooms can give you um even at like you know small doses but yeah like what you were even saying it's just like a whole new perspective and I feel like you start to ask more questions you kind of wake up to things uh it's just very very unique yeah and it's it's interesting how the the body responds biologically because for a few days after a higher experience there there's a ton of neurogenesis happening so there's
there's all this new data that just came into your um to your neural system that hadn't been perceived before and so what the brain does is it makes models of information that comes in so not with all this new data it has to create a new model to make sense of everything that just came in and so when you incorporate that new model into your mind now you're looking at life you're looking at the same data you've been looking at every single day of your life with a new level
of understanding from this new neurom model these new synaptic Pathways that have been set up and that results in asking a lot more questions uh you know you see alternative it kind of pulls you out of the cultural framework that you didn't even realize you were locked inside of yes and once you once you get a peak outside of that behind that curtain uh it's very difficult to fall completely back into it which is why most governmental power structures have made it very very difficult for most of
their citizens to access these things because if they all had access to these things uh nobody would go along with the support of the governmental structure which is dependent upon our silent obedience yes yeah yeah no definitely it's it's F it's so interesting how that works I was just talking with uh the head of decriminalized nature and it's such a weird thing that we have to like criminalize nature like just like natural things that grow um so yeah that's frustrating but also it's weird
that like they knew to hide it I guess from us or like um get rid of the accessibility even though I feel like we all deserve to have that yeah but it's also equally interesting that it is slowly at least in our country becoming allowed I think that's really interesting and it makes me wonder if there are Cycles to these things uh every everything seems to cycle and go through different seasons and so maybe even Consciousness is that way and so maybe there's a there's a
period of time where people become the most disconnected from nature that they can possibly be and then slowly they start rediscovering that connection and then that goes further and further and maybe that's happening all the time is
¶ Pairing Functional and Psychedelic Mushrooms
this you know if you look at the um the sub physical structure of reality if we if we take what the physicists are saying seriously um they're essentially saying that everything is made out of waves of probability so when you get when you get tiny you zoom in enough into the physical world things stop being physical and they become these fields of probability and they're uh in this in this wave form of potentiality until they're perceived then those waves start
behaving like particles so it's like the possibility becomes uh material or like we were saying with the video game analogy you you turn to look at the the tree or the monster and that was just information before now that information is crystallized into actual material so waves what are waves well a sine wave is just an an infinite horizontal s that's oscillating back and forth around a central line so like this um and so what that implies is that at the most fundamental nature of reality
everything is cyclical it's going through these different seasons uh and so maybe even Consciousness is this way so there are periods of time where Collective human consciousness is disconnected from its origin it doesn't understand what reality is it doesn't even really care what reality is because it comes it becomes so focused on the material world and so that's why we see these huge like the Industrial Revolution we see huge advances in technology um which is leading to
information technology and the making of things the storing up of things exploiting the planet for resources unsustainably um which is obviously all of that is unsustainable So eventually it gets to a point where some of us start waking up to oh this is actually not a good thing to do and maybe there maybe there's more important questions to ask besides how can I profit from this and where can I get more resources and where can I outperform my neighbor and so it seems to be that we're in one
of those periods right now where we're turning that corner which is really fun because you know the only thing more fun than being in Paradise is like realizing that you've been in paradise and it's like oh man this life is this good and we didn't even know it how what else can we explore what else can we do what other magic and joy and love can we experience here if we were just in that all the time uh it would be essentially meaningless and that's that's I think
why we when you see like the story of the Garden of Eden for example if if people had just lived in Paradise perpetually you would wake up on a paradise day and it would be be just like the hand cell it's just like I just you know another day I have everything I need I know who I am fully in truth I'm identifying with Divine Consciousness you know there are rivers of milk and honey flowing all around me and I can just dip my cup in and drink it anytime I want no big deal it would you'd have
no contrast and so that wouldn't actually be paradise it would be right painfully neutral and so for for anything to be good there has to be equivalent bad and Challenge and discomfort and fear and so we're we're we're coming we're in that fun part now where we get to discover uh all that there is to discover and it's really cool and I think that these psychoactive plants and um things of the fungal kingdom are seem to be part of that Discovery yeah not another day as a hand cell that was
so I'm G to use this yeah please everyday lingo oh yeah and people people are waking up to um I don't know if you've heard people talk about Lion's man or you know just like lions man in general oh yeah I've used it myself with wonderful results yes yes so a lot of people come up to our stand and they're like you know you guys got the fun mushrooms talking about um psychedelics and obviously we cannot sell that in Florida we like to stay out of Prisons as much as we can um but we like to
recommend pairing it with Lion's man because what you're saying it kind of connects the synapses um heals some of that like milin a lot of like the healing and reconnecting and so Lions man paired with um philosophy and stuff like that is a really good pair um even Paul samit talks about like the trio I think he adds like nasin as well but um but yeah it's such a fun conversation to kind of have with people and they're like oh so there is like something that we can you know Supply or
um kind of have that conversation about pairing functional mushrooms with psychedelic mushrooms MH and even if you only have access to the functional mushrooms like Lion's man there's still tons of benefits to this a lot of people if you get a really good quality um either the raw mushroom or an extraction there's a Australian company called life cycle that I really like and they do this dual extracted um Lion's main tinure they add some weird high antioxidant Plum to it
called The kakadu Plum okay um it's very strange I don't know why they do that but that's their thing interesting and I noticed that uh it was increasing my Sleep Quality I got into it initially because I heard it was on a um Dave asprey's podcast it was called BPR radio at the time and he was talking about how that was the only thing that he found that measurably increased the time that he was spending in stage four Delta Sleep which is when your brain is at its
quietest and this is when human growth hormone is released when the body can fully repair itself so um I've always been very very fascinated with sleep and increasing Sleep Quality so I tried it out and what I started noticing is um way more dreams way more Vivid significant dreams and the coolest thing was that the quality of my insights was increasing so I I I have a few memories

where I was just maybe driving home sitting in a red light or something and an idea would come in a profound idea and they were there was this flavor to it that was like this is not a normal idea that would come to me and I have a lot of funny ideas but you can tell when it's like something has been changed my perspective is a little bit different and uh it was really cool so I'll have phases you know maybe like once or twice a year where I will uh consistently uh consume that in the
evenings and uh those periods are always very insightful very creative and amazing for your dream dream life too yeah no I mean I feel like everybody loves dreaming but I I'm doing a new thing on my channel where I'm doing a new series I guess of trying different mushroom products and doing reviews on them I don't know if I told you in our Discovery call but I've been trying to either like promote good companies or also just kind of like expose like you know not so good products if you know
you're you're promising something like it's going to heal this and this and you like a little schmidgen of lines man in there um so I'm like interested in always hearing about new mushroom products so yeah I wrote that one down I have to look into it that sounds really interesting I really like it they they have a handful of different uh extracts and it's the it's the the mushroom the main mushrooms you see on the list of functional mushrooms they have ceps Lion
Man chaga shitake RI uh but the quality of their extraction is is really really good and there's there's so many like you said diluted things in the world of health and supplements and nutrition um I've tried so many different mushroom formulas that I I perceived zero change from right you know and so for me there's an intelligence in these things so you you should be able to notice some type of difference some type of positive change rather than just well I don't I
I'm just taking this because somebody said it was good for me like don't waste your money if that's where it's at exactly EXA makes a difference yeah yeah and that's why I'm trying to do these reviews to save save your money um CU I think a lot of people try to go for the cheapest route or Amazon and then it's like well you're not really getting you know the benefits um if you're trying to actually do this for well-being and like health and memory cognition like you
should look into some more of it but I think it's just such a new idea that people don't really know how to debunk or like validate these products so that's why I'm trying to be here for always education yeah what do you think about uh amonita muscaria um so overall I think it's a really really interesting mushroom how you could either you know get kidney failure poison yourself but also a lot of people use it as like a culinary mushroom if you prepare it the right way so that's kind of a lot of
people look into it for like a psychedelic experience but it's not not always the like exactly what you're looking for so it depends what type of experience you're trying to have and you also have to prepare it there's actually different types of amonita species uh different colors so I think different ones could do different things but yeah it's very interesting how like historically or culturally that people use um amonitas as like a a practice or um a ritual in some
way yeah it's something I'd like to explore more I've heard of some people using the amonita tinctures for Sleep Quality because it's very gab energic so when you stimulate the gabber receptors it's usually very calming and brings the body into a more of that rest and digest yeah um but then there's also all of the are you familiar with all of the the Siberian Christmas lore and all that stuff with that mushroom about the Reindeer and Santa Claus and Chinese absolutely I got a shout out my
episode um I've done a Christmas episode um I forget I actually remade that one too so I think it's like around a hundred or like 40 like I've um I've interviewed somebody who kind of loves the folklore of it and so we kind of went into detail but yeah it's a really fun um you know topic the yeah it's it's so fascinating to me all the unexpected places that mushrooms in general pop up um have you heard of uh the guy John Marco Allegro he wrote I think it's called The Sacred Mushroom in the
cross this dude studied the Dead Sea Scrolls which are the earliest drafts of the Bible that we have that were found in a cave in somewhere in the Middle East and this dude studied them for I think like two decades and uh had no supposedly had no AR priori assumptions or agendas on what he was going to find and his academic conclusions were that all of the early Christian texts were actually talking about mushroom experiences and which creates some type of connection between the psilocybin
experience the psilocybin realm uh and what we would know of as Christ and the uh you know the energy and love that one would find therein so that would be considered pretty heretical these days to you know I think most people uh especially those of a Christian faith um but if you've actually had an experience like I I can see I can see some type of connection there because at least in my path the most impactful experience I had with psychedelic mushrooms was very
very unconditionally loving I mean there was no fear I was brought to this place I call the Rainbow be Hive and inside of that was pure unconditional Acceptance in in the most real way that I I can possibly explain and it kept emphasizing that there's no that everything's okay and that there's there's no it kept asking he's like have you realized there's no problem yet and it kind of showed me people scurrying around running around trying to solve all these issues and problems and uh it was like
that you don't have to do that no one's expecting you to do that when you're die there's no one waiting with a clipboard to make sure you did all the right stuff like this is all these are all man-made constructs and you're allowed to be in peace and we love you and you can be exactly who you are you can come back here as many times as you want enjoy and it really it took away my fear of death honestly that that I don't think was gripping me beforehand but that's part
of being an organism is this want wanting to continue surviving and uh after that experience uh that fear if it was there before really just isn't now so and and all of those things I would say are very similar to for the for the anyone who's experienced that feeling of Christ Consciousness in your heart that full real unconditional loving acceptance of the moment uh there's there's something there yeah yeah no that's a really really good point I think I hope people don't hate me for
this but it's like uh a lot of people talk about like the burning bush situation and I'm like that just like is so such a psychedelic uh like experience I feel like it'd be so hard um I feel like that it's very connected in a way um so it's really it's really interesting like I think a lot of these stories or like parts of the scripture could be um influenced by some sort of psychedelics or mushroom medicine or some sort of medicine in a way MH yeah it seems totally reasonable to me that
the Divine creator of all that is would put some little medicines here for us to reconnect when we're ready the truth you know because they're they yeah exactly uh and they're you know most of them are [Music] are unor deal of some kind or you know ought be used ceremonially because if they're not um it's not a fun experience you know especially something like iboga uh some of the more intense ones are they're not just a a fun party drug it's like you you are connecting to higher
wisdom and that wisdom is going to kick your ass if you have you know trauma that you haven't processed or are living in a way that is uh not in accordance with natural law which is love if you're if you're being selfish you're stealing you're lying you're hurting other people these things are going to be put right in your face yeah exactly uh so they're little they they're little teachers seemingly or big teachers I guess teach golden teachers exactly um they show you where you've been
envious um and so yeah I think it I think there's something there I think there's definitely some evidence in in a lot of different ancient religious texts about using this stuff I mean you hear of s in the East they still don't know exactly what that was there was the ucini Mysteries which I believe was in Europe which was a thing that everybody would go to and they drink some type of sacred through nobody knows exactly what it was it might have been some type of
ergotamine um like old school LSD type of tonic and people would only go once but everyone would go all of the the elite would go experience this at least once and um you know it goes It goes on and on you see the and the bur the burning bush some people claim that that was a um uh what is that plant called AAA an ACAA plant which is very very rich in dimethyl tryptamine which is as we know one of the most potent psychedelic compounds in existence that we've discovered thus far see so I see I
think that's really cool like if that's how God talks to humans is through like what if that's what these psychedelics are is it's it's a telephone line because how in in my I'll just speak on my own behalf in my normal everyday waking consciousness I don't know if it's even possible for me to fully interface with all of existence at once which we could call the all the universe God so there there needs to be some type of linkage some type of communication interface
between our small human mind and the Consciousness attached to it and the all mind and it seems like these funny little substances and these funny little molecules which are very very similar to human biochemistry and we happen to have receptor sites just for them uh certainly that is not a coincidence or accident of nature right yeah and I feel like everybody that first takes um this sort of medicine they kind of explain how connected things are like they're like oh my gosh
things just like make sense like there's just like so many things that unlock but then also there everybody's always like everything's so connected and it's just like such a common thing that people say like there's no way that we could be like whispering in your ear beforehand and being like don't you think that everything's connected like I I don't know how that would all be telephone to people before um so it's interesting that a lot of people have the same
ideology or um outcome after taking it yeah it's I think it's really really interesting and that seems to be even across different substances and different groups of people over time is this uh this boundary dissolving factor and uh you know maybe that's the cycle we were talking about of human consciousness in itself as we we go through different periods of how far away we segregate everything else from each other you know how how how far down can we reduce reality into its component
fundamental separate parts it's like no this is an atom this is a different atom this is a different atom that that's all these substances show you that that's all nonsense it's there's there aren't separate atoms like what you're you're seeing this because that's what you're looking into and reality will always show you what you're looking for um in those States you are for forced to experience reality more as it truly is which seems to be one cohesive unified
system of Oneness and it gets weird because we think of our minds as being unique too it's like I'm having these thoughts right now and nobody else can hear them they're isolated in this little thing we call the mind uh you get to you get further out you dissolve some of these boundaries you realize uh that's not the case your your thoughts are very much interf inter acting with reality maybe creating reality in some way or or selecting how reality appears back to you and it's interacting with
other people's thoughts and other people's beliefs and other people's systems of beliefs and their expectations we are all part of some big bubbling cauldron stew ofous yeah yeah yeah somebody was saying like you've never had your own original thought and I was like I wonder how true that is yeah I've heard that too and I don't know about that because I've had a few thoughts that attached to the thought was a little tag that said this has never been thought before you
know is that tag accurate we have no idea I don't I don't know U but we don't even know if we're generating our own thoughts we're experiencing thoughts but that's kind of part of the whole trap
¶ Trauma Healing W Devin Bailey
too I think is that we might just be a silent Observer behind the eyes behind the mind and when you when you get more into meditation especially more Zen styles of meditation where you're you're in that you're floating in that nothingness you realize that you kind of just are the nothingness and there's a lot of Peace there and suddenly your opinions and your fears and and all that stuff you realize maybe that wasn't actually me that was just kind of the Avatar that I
hopped into to experience a different perspective through and so is it possible that God is doing that through all of us and that we're connecting to our higher self or our soul that it's actually the same Soul there's only one and it's just experiencing all of these different experiences simultaneously and it has to be simultaneous or it' be super lonely you know what I mean if only one person if the Divine could only incarnate as one person at a time you know live a whole human lifetime and
then die and then another human comes in it would be so boring yeah there'd be uh all the all the best things would be missing at that point everybody else are just NPCs and just one right oh interesting do you uh what are some of your favorite like topics that you cover on your podcast I kind of want to see what are some of like the biggest takeaways or like you know future things that you want to talk on your podcast mhm um so I'm really into optimizing The Human Experience and
what I've found and and so I guess I should Define that optimizing The Human Experience being maximizing things like joy and peace and connectedness and passion and the one of the biggest tools that I found to do that is actually releasing psychological trauma and this is what I focus on professionally so I actually recently started my own mental health brand called Abra and the whole focus is getting people unstuck emotionally and mentally and what happens is for every human being I've
ever met is early in life usually in childhood uh when we're in a very open receptive State our brain is in a Theta State primarily before up to the age seven and when you're in a Theta State the the there's no filter so anything information that comes in rather than having to be repeated it's much more likely to go right into the subconscious and take hold so this is a very delicate a potentially dangerous time period because if we're around whoever we're around whatever we're
around it forms and shapes our worldview and the way that we experience life moving forward for decades after that so a lot of people went through everybody went through some type of experience where they were and it it doesn't have to be physical at all it usually isn't actually um but they were told something that changed the way that they perceived themselves and the way that we perceive ourselves is pretty much the story of of our life so really what we're living is
stories and what you know what is our mindset if you want to talk about mindset that's the story that you tell yourself about yourself and a lot of people's story they tell themselves about themselves is garbage and it keeps them stuck it keeps them in these cycles of you know bad relationships or not capitalizing on their dreams not going not following their passions doing jobs that they hate um you know in constant arguments and fear Cycles with family members uh it shows up as physical
health issues persisting ones so what I found is the the most impactful way to help someone live a really solid fulfilling joyful life is to clear that stuff out and then reprogram the mind uh which can actually be done so um a really cool example um is I had struggled with chronic insomnia for 10 plus years could not figure it out I tried and this is part of my health Journey actually was trying to solve this problem and so I explored all of different herbs meditation techniques
Foods diets in a single instance I revised a memory from when I was four years old and so you can go into a memory and you know really get into that scene and then change it and change change it to what you wish would have happened and then run that scene back a couple times Loop it until it like clicks in you can feel it and so I did that and insomnia was gone like permanently gone and all I did was this one instance it took me like 20 minutes so we don't realize that our stories
from the past are a lot of times still running and still affecting us today and we just get so used to that being our life that it doesn't even occur to us that we could be living differently and these things are even changeable so we we are very malleable we are very plastic we are very upgradeable uh we just have to go in and and actually do it and a lot of people don't know it's possible so that's why I'm trying to tell people is like hey that thing that happened to
you when you were five and you're like yeah yeah I'm over it doesn't affect me now I was like was it emotionally intense at the time yes have you actually gone in and Pro that and release that no but it's it was so long ago well subconscious exists outside of time unfortunately so it's probably still there and there's probably still a tiny piece of you that you could call your inner child if you want that's still suffering and still feeling whatever pain was associated with that
and still holding on to those same fears and that might be holding you back from living your best life yeah wow that's interesting that you had like a app running in the background type of thing where you had to like you know is that something that you're trying to offer with your new ab um like kind of going through those examples and kind of figuring all that out was is that going to be your that's exactly what I do yep yeah and I so unique that's that's my main thing right
now is helping clients do that and the difference is the difference between this approach and traditional talk therapy which is the only thing that most people know is an option uh other than Pharmaceuticals which I do not recommend in most cases uh is when you go to a talk therapist you end up talking about the same stuff every week week after week after week after week and from the people that I've asked about this uh you know I've done market research and like talked to people
who've gone to therapy and like what did you get out of this and they're like almost nothing a lot of people have told me that they leave a therapy session more triggered than when they went in because they were digging up these memories uh and then oh 's up you got to go and so now you're open the wound is open and triggered and you you're not you you're not leaving thinking any differently you're just in an upregulated State and then you have a week to come down and then talk about it
again it's a very inefficient system I think it's a scam honestly and it's uh not to say that there aren't really good therapists out there uh and some people do get really good benefits some people just need an ear to talk to every week this is what happened this week ah feels nice to share it cool uh most people are are looking to actually think differently to change that little inner voice voice that inner critic in their mind um or to calm down and not be stuck in the past or the Cycles the
loops whatever it may be so yeah that's what I hope people do yeah okay yeah that's really cool how long have you is this a new thing that you're doing as well like uh so I've been doing it for a while uh I it's a in terms of starting my own actual brand uh that is relatively new but yeah it's something I've been doing kind of on the side for several years uh and that that's what I studied is um you know my academic background is in neuropsychology and then a little bit of philosophy and
biology as well um and there just over the years there have been a few techniques that I've discovered and become certified in that were really really helpful for me so the memory revision was one of them uh there's a few other techniques that I utilize as well main one is called the unlifted method uh which is just a way of releasing the emotional hold that the memories have on us because some people are like well I'm never going to forget that memory you don't have to forget
that memory it's not actually the memory that's the problem it's the story that you started telling about yourself afterwards and then the emotional grip that it has held since so there are a few different ways that you can loosen that and release that and then replace it with something new and I have seen legitimate Miracles even a few of my clients recently have started uh noticing physical changes and uh chronic physical issues that we thought or we were told are only curable through you
know enzymes herbs pills diets uh a lot of these things maybe even all of them are just manifestations of a psychological fear or a trauma something that hasn't been fully felt and so it's stuck in the body and the body keeps trying to tell you hey deal with this deal with this and you're like no I don't want to deal with that so you shove it down but you're not actually getting rid of it it's it's blowing out some where else in your body uh and leading to hormone disregulation or you
know cancer or improper cell voltage or inflammation there's so many different ways so it's it's it's starting to get into wo territory um which which is that you know in just a few sessions people are are starting to clear up some actual persistent physical issues it's really cool yeah I actually I did a workshop or some sort of um exercise like this a few years ago and she had us like sit down and we kind of had to I think she played or she like did some counting down then you kind of had to
think about different memories that you had but also it was like a way that she triggered memories that I didn't even know I was thinking about like you're just supposed to be clearheaded like think of nothing and she did like a countdown technique and all of a sudden like whatever you thought of was like a memory that was emotional kind of TR drama um of like how are you stopping yourself from succeeding or being successful and it was just a so like emotional experience and I thought of
memories that I never thought about until like you know since I did them like since I was like six years old and I was like I've never had this memory I didn't even know that like this was a thing and it was just so interesting talking to everybody and you kind of like had a realization and you'd like walk into your new your like new dream house and you'd like talk to yourself of like as you were a kid and trying to like heal um whatever memory you had and
it was a really life-changing experience so I couldn't even imagine like um healing you know like huge things and um yeah it was I I forget who the person was um but yeah it was such a unique I never even knew that those types of exercises exist so um thank you for kind of providing that for people yeah absolutely it's uh it is a pleasure and I think it is what I personally have been made to do designed to do and it it never stops being fun because you never
know what memory I've had so many people that are like yeah I don't really remember anything before high school like okay and I just started asking them questions and then all of a sudden you know they'll tell me something I'll be like well when when is the first time you felt that way and they're like well you know there was this time when I was six I'm like aha so you do remember you know it's a lot of the stuff is just just right under the the surface and
when you start you know it's a process of of kind of releasing the whatever's on top and then something else will float up from underneath and you can release that we are very able to heal in ways that we never thought possible and it and it looks miraculous it's really really cool so um yeah I love helping people with that I it's like it's hard to get out of the I'm always thinking about trauma now like when I see someone I'm always kind of analyzing them in not not in a
reductionist way but it's when you start thinking this way you start seeing people as their as that inner silent Observer is like the the little sweetie on the inside and you can see that everybody is carrying you know bowling balls of trauma and limiting beliefs and programming that's not serving them and so instead of being like Oh that guy is just a jerk you start to realize oh no that guy probably experienced something when he was a little kid and has been
coping unproductively with that ever since you know some program was set up in the Consciousness in the background to protect him to keep that little person safe and now he's a grown ass man and that program is not serving him but it's still running so we can change that yeah yeah do you see something with me I have to now ask no I haven't noticed anything there are people supposedly who could like see your field you know it's the field that in forms and shapes your
physical body which some some would say comes before the creation of your physical body so people who see auras and stuff like that um you hear a lot about this in South American Shamanism is people will enter these enhanced States through various plant medicines and they'll start to actually see stuff like that and you know sometimes that shows up as like what looks like weapons like lodged in the body and then in the physical body they'll be like you know a
cancer or something there but in the in in the field it's something that's in the field so you know these there's connections between these subtle layers of reality yeah I actually have a few friends that um can see auras and so they're like oh my gosh you're like this uh they say that I'm purple and orange which is uh I was just like that's so interesting that you like there's so many different perspective you know we were talking about uh mushroom medicine plant medicine but like some of these
people just like are blessed with a specific guft of like seeing or like if you're uh touching somebody then you can like feel like their energy or see their Aura by feeling um it's so interesting how different people are yeah I I love that stuff I think it's so cool how everybody has naturally has different gifts and some people are able to remote view some people can see auras um I've had two dreams that gave me instructions on how to levitate stones and I haven't actually figured
out how to do it yet I'll tell you though it was very simple it said you you have to find the object and I don't know if it is just for stones or if it's for anything um you have to find the object's Thunder it's what they called it and then you replicate that Thunder and you can manipulate the object so here's how I interpret this um most things have a resonant frequency especially things that are organized so um think of like a crystal singing bowl Crystal singing bowl is a
bunch of really organized silica molecules they're all pointing in the same direction and they're fit together in a beautiful pattern that's what makes the bowl that's what makes all crystals um I think most of them are are silica based um and it's in a certain shape and it's in a certain size and because of that when you add kinetic energy to it you strike it with an object or use friction it will make a sound and that sound is a what we're auditorially perceiving as the resonant frequency of
the singing bowl so maybe everything has a resonant frequency and that means that if you were to play that exact frequency the thing would start vibrating on its own much how if you know you pluck an E string on a guitar a guitar on the other side of the room with tuned to the same tuning will start resonating on its own so I think that what the dream was saying was you somehow have to discover the resonant frequency of the object and then replicate that frequency maybe in a
higher octave I don't know and then you can somehow manipulate this object Against Gravity uh which by the way gravity is also just a theory we don't actually know if there's a actual Force
¶ Follow As Above Podcast
pulling matter together uh it could be but it could also be have something to do with density uh we don't we don't really know much about reality people will tell you that we do um I don't yeah I suspect you don't it's all up in the air yeah exactly yeah follow astrological Cycles at all we're in a really interesting time because Saturn and Pisces uh is co-present with Neptune and Pisces and they're going to be conjoining at the final degree and stepping into Aries
together so if you think of um these two planets are essentially oppositional so Saturn being the for a long time was said to be representative of the outer layers the outer boundaries of reality itself this was before the outer planets were discovered and so Saturn is the heavy physical uh material reality and time itself whereas Neptune is the opposite Neptune is the planetary incarnation of Pisces which is infinity it is the Quantum field it is the feminine ocean
of infinite possibilities so you have this planet of boundary and reality and time and then this other one of all it basically is like the Psychedelic planet and they're co-present right now in the same sign when they conjoin somehow those two energies are going to have to finish and complete their negotiation they're going to have to find a way to agree and so does that mean that we will have scientific breakthroughs where we're now able to quantify the previously unquantifiable will we be
able to somehow measure something like Consciousness so we can actually Define it properly like we failed to do at the beginning of this podcast um or uh will it go in some other weird way will will the boundaries that we who's going to win you know will will the boundaries of reality themselves be dissolved for a time will the veil thin will the separation that we have been perceiving between all of us and all of Nature and reality will that be dissolved by the
dissolution um properties that Neptune seems to signify uh we don't know but it is going to be a very interesting time and that'll be happening in um between the next one in three years approximately yeah it's it gets really wacky and we we still don't know for sure if the planets themselves are having some type of geomagnetic effect on the earth I would say that's less likely uh they seem to be put there to show us uh cycles of time like we're talking about these different layers of
different seasons because they're all extremely mathematical in their uh processions in orbits so you know some of them like um let see well the Moon is a great example the moon will go through the entire 360 degree ecliptic um which we've divided up into the 12 different zodiacal signs humans did that uh but that'll happen every 28 days consistently and yet uh Pluto will take 248 years I believe to go through that same path and so and then all the planets in between are moving at various
speeds and so these are all different Gears of the sky clock and so when you watch long enough you start noticing certain types of events happening when certain planets interact geometrically and that sort of thing and so it's um it's not a perfect system and maybe it never will be it's really helpful though I think in in understanding the the cycles of deep time because most people understand the concept of a day and you know maybe a month oh there's a full moon you might know once a month well
it's it's actually every single month um reliably and it's moving one sign every single time um the solar year people kind of get that but anything beyond that people are pretty unaware of they notice their spring summer fall and winter um which are mostly signified by the interaction between the sun and moon and the where they fall in the sky but it goes on there are deeper levels of time like really deep that are longer than human lifetimes and so it's it's
pretty interesting to study those tell people where they can find you where they can uh Listen to As Above podcast um I think a lot of people will be intrigued by your conversations on your side so let people know where to find you yeah I appreciate that so it currently is on Spotify and what are they call iTunes Now Apple podcast yeah yep yeah uh it's just as above with Devon Bailey uh if you want to connect with me personally you can find me on Instagram it's just DB wizard uh db.
