Always Sunny, Always Sunny. A flex in Frooms live show recording brought to you by Kita and Specsavers.
We are asking the big questions. You know. I did read this article on the New Yorker and it was one hundred and ninety four of the world's hardest questions answered. And so I think I'm going to go through one like every day for the next six months. Because some of those answers weren't good. This was not one of them. But it is an important question. Picture this. You've fallen in love, this person has proposed to you. You're engaged, Okay,
dried up, relax, relax, Now you're engaged. You are betrothed, right, something's happened. You've got the ick, You've seen too many things and you just don't want to go through with it, and so you call off the engagement. Do you have to give back the engagement ring? Paddles up? If you agree that you do, paddles up. Paddles up, high up so we can see them. It sounds like thirty percent of people, so you have to give it back. Okay, paddles down. There's been a situation in the media where
this has happened. This basketball player proposed to his girlfriend with an eight hundred thousand pound ring. He was very surprised when she broke off the engagement, and he sent her a season desist to retrieve the ring back. I think it's very interesting because it made me think about the concept of engagement rings generally. Is it a gift or is it a gift pending the agreement of marriage? Do you know what I mean? Like, is it like on the option or like on on the deliverance of
this marriage. You're entitled to the client situation, because then in that case, I do want the most expensive one we can get, thank you, because then it's not a gift. It's not like, here's a token of my love and appreciation. Here is a symbol so people know that I love you. It's like no, no, no, no, Here is a collar that you will put around your ring finger. I'm tracking the it's symbol like the pat Jackie. No. I think it's really interesting. So would you give it back or not?
You didn't answer. I'll be giving it back. I don't want that in my life. Oh you don't want to silental tokens of love?
No I do. I'm just trying to collect good vibes and I think holding on to it. You know, there's it's definitely tempting to sell it, porn it at a pawn shop.
Paddles up. Would you sell the engagement ring if you caught off the engagement There we go, We go entrepreneurs, not opportunists. Entrepreneurs, entrepreneurs.
