Problem Solving Process: 

1. Clearly identify the problem
2. Who are the affected parties, and what interest they have in the issue?
3. List possible solutions
4. Evaluate the possible solutions 
5. Select an option-solution 
6. Execute and document  on the chosen option, the strategies and agreement required to action the solution
7. Monitor and evaluate the solution
