Episode description

As a society, we do a poor job with sexual health and STI education. In this episode, I'm interviewing Courtney Brame, founder and podcast host of Something Positive for Positive People (SPFPP.org), a 501c3 nonprofit organization advocating for the integration of post-STI diagnosis support resources and STD prevention efforts while connecting people struggling with STI stigma to mental health resources. The podcast features interviews with people living primarily with herpes about their experiences from diagnosis to disclosure. We discuss stigma, discrimination, what to do post-diagnosis, communication about your diagnosis, and much more in our open chat about STIs.
