It's where they position themselves when a mark is attempted, so that if the mark doesn't get taken, they're going to be in the more often than not, in the right position to get the ball and to get it out to continue attacking.
This is why I think I'm not too fussed about Nix's coaching. I think what they need to do is have a dn good look at the way Hawthorne played today, especially the last three recorded, and have a look at their system. And that's why I think that no matter what you list, there's a hope for you, hope for your team to at least put up a you know, a commendable performance each week and win more often than not. Is the system and the way you play. Yes, they do.
There is there is players missing or know and there they haven't got a great bot of depth I suppose at the moment, But you know, I often think it's about the system and what they've gotten the way they play, and if they worked on that, but'd be a lot better.

You're right, We've we've got a lot of young boys in and and you know, probably probably this week as well, our leaders didn't stand up, and it is there's probably anger, frustration, disappointment, you know, a bit of startings.

It's I think we started with how we wanted to start and and we fell away very quickly, and you know, the quality of Hawthorne at the moment they put us to the sword a bit and it's very very disappointing with how we finished. So yeah, it's it's a it's a bit of a sumber room at the moment.
But yeah, it is what is what was what was the you know, you were out there obviously and one of the leaders. What was the key thing that you probably, I mean, you can always learn from opposition teams. What was this couple of things that you took away that Hawthorne do really well that perhaps you can work on for the rest of the season.
No, they did. They moved the ball really well.
So their contests definitely list lifted. I think our contest in the in that first bit when we were probably on top, was was really really strong, and we were able to move the ball, and they took that probably away from us, and then we couldn't stop them moving the ball. They get you know, they get some quick ball movement and and they get out at the back. And then once they you know, can move move the ball quickly with their hands and and they run quite hard out the back.
It's it is quite hard to stop.
And you know, when you're when you're verse in teams like that, contest is just super super important. And you know, all over the ground we weren't quite good enough tonight.

The first quarter you had four marks inside fifty, you kicked a one on ones, you won the ground ball, the stoppage, all the numbers ridden you away your head.
