Head coach and gym manager of Xtreme Couture MMA Eric Nicksick joins Fitz to talk about how he reinvented himself and career.
Once a highly recruited football player, personal errors led to the end of his college football career. Nicksick talks about how he blamed others instead of being accountable for his own actions.
A legal issue in his past led to him not being able to join the Las Vegas Fire Department, and he was left at a crossroads. He needed to change his attitude and find a new path.
That's when he went from just training at Xtreme Couture to taking on a manager and then coaching role despite never having competed in MMA.
