hey guys my name is Ally and I'm Grace and we work here at Fitness Sports but we also are fifth years's on the track and field team at the University of Iowa yep so with that we're on the middle distance team there and we primarily run the 800 yep my PR in the 800 is 20324 and mine's 2058 and today we're going to be doing a spike review of our favorite spikes that we personally race in every time we get on the track all righty so I have the Nike maxfly 2 and I have the air Victory

2 so why is the maxfly my favorite shoe for one this is actually the second version of the maxfly model I think it's better than the first because it it's it's just a very refined shoe it keeps you on your toes it allows you to Sprint it really kind of has the full nine yards funny thing about this is it is primarily a sprinting shoe uh however I think it works best in the eight just because it helps me get in that last leg uh for the last 100 m of my 800 met race

I also tend to race down in these shoes so if I'm running the 600 M or a 4x4 you'll definitely catch me in these they've got six spikes on the bottom which is really nice just because I feel like I constantly have grip in these um and also they're a very uh constrictive shoe so while they're going to keep my feet in place they still allow a little bit of movement so I don't feel completely confined in my shoes so I really love these yeah no those are a great shoe the

biggest difference between the maxfly and the Victory is the air wicking material um that the shoe is made of and that's a big reason why I like these shoes more I like something that's a little bit more breathable and allows me just a little bit more movement and that's what I see with these shoes another thing I really like about them like the maxfly is that they keep me on my toes I always used to eras in the Dragon flies and I loved those shoes but they're a little bit more distance than

what I like as I wear these shoes between the 4x4 the 600 up to the 12200 in a distance medley so it's a really versatile shoe um and something that I constantly grab for when we have so many options that we can choose from the biggest difference between this shoe and the Victory 1 is that this only has four Spike holes I haven't noticed a big difference with it I still think the grip is great on the shoe and overall I just have nothing but great things to say about this shoe as it just both of

them continue to help us PR in the upcoming season all righty guys this is what we've got today these are some of our favorite spikes that we think really push us towards our best PRS we want to hear what your favorite spikes are make sure to leave a comment down below just telling us what your favorite spike is and why and we wish you a great track season and lots of PRS and we hope that you can share this video with your friends and family to hear about their favorite shoes as well [Music] 3
