The Belarus Question

Today's show immediately follows CNN's live coverage of a joint news conference by Russian President Vladimir Putin and Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko. Putin said his country’s military exercises are "purely defensive and do not threaten anyone" and that joint drills with Belarus will continue until Sunday. He said both countries' defense ministries announced the "exercises well in advance."
