Episode description

In this episode I talk about what the purpose of riding the horse "on the bit" is, (spoiler alert its not just to win pretty ribbons) and why I'm not a fan of side reins, chambons and other artificial aids to create it.

This podcast comes with a video training, you can watch it here, so that you have a visual to go with these concepts. Because, I get it!!! Just listening to this words can be super confusing!!! So make sure you watch this video to get a visual for hollow, on the forehand, engagement, seeking contact, behind the bit, flexing away at the third vertebrae etc.

If you're listening to this and your thinking:
- I don't know how to strategically combine my exercises for topline development.

- I thought all I had to do is tuck my horses nose in and now I'm realising why I'm stuck in my training

- I don't know how to work with soft hands my horse trusts, seeks and looks to for guidance.
