The Problem with Complaining
Nov 21, 2021•1 hr 1 min
Episode description
Pastor Robert Rohlin on the Sunday before Thanksgiving preaches a somewhat-unorthodox sermon on Thanksgiving. He focuses in on the meaning in Numbers 11:1 where God judges the sin of complaining. There are a lot of words for that sin: murmuring, whining, griping, belly-aching, being a sore-head. Basically complaining is a sin for 3 reasons which Pastor Rohlin explains. Complaining prevents Thanksgiving. In the next sermon, he covers reasons for which we should thank God. But in this sermon, it turns out that perhaps we are all guilty of complaining from time to time. But do you know just how seriously God reacts to this sin? Prayerfully listen to determine if this is an attitude / action that you need to eliminate from your life.
